An idea I came up with at some point.

As one might see right away this card is supposed to be a tool for Pendulums to actually regenerate past turn 1.

I am sure this card might be controversial, so I figured I would like some opinions on the card and the design in general.

Basicly this card rewards the player for investing into future plays.

I would be quite grateful for feedback on the negating aspect of this card and if there would be something else, which would more fitting.

It's a bit weird because it takes a turn to set up the Link Markers but really you would rather have the arrows just pointing downwards for Pendulums. It also has 0 ATK while not being able to switch into Defense Position. The negation is interesting though. 


 


I might increase the ATK to 1500-1800 ATK and give it a trigger like "when a card or effect is activated" or "when a monster is summoned or a monster card effect is activated" so it can be played around a bit.

Well, it is supposed to slow down the opponent a bit and be mostly safe, similar to omega, so it can return to a main monster zone and thus open up 3 slots to pendulum summon or fusion/synchro/xyz into, so the ceiling would not be reduced as much, I kept it mostly generic, so that archtypes completely screwed by the link mechanic could get at least something out of it (the worst example would be igknights, which are completely unplayable) (and that pendulums in general would benefit, while still being slowed down the mechanic).

Initially I thought about it not doing anything, however that would have been far too awful (and would slow down the user beyond being awful), so I was thinking about giving it a necro guardna-like effect, though on the way I scrapped it to do something more meaningful.

As for the fact it had a defense stat ... that was embarassing.

What is your opinion on it having a necro guardna-like effect instead or something like that ?

The 0 ATK stat is supposed to be a parallel to the supreme king gates, which are supposed to be supporters above all else, which is why they have 0 value stats, not to mention this monster is suppoed to hide as a cost, so catching it should be difficult enough to justify it having no stats (except kaijuing it, though that is one of the reasons why this card can negate monsters on its own side of the field).
