DP19-JP002 幻想魔術師・ノー・フェイス Magical Illusionist No Face (TCG: Magical Illusionist Faceless Mage)
Level 5 DARK Spellcaster Effect Monster
ATK 1200
DEF 2200
You can only use each effect of “Magical Illusionist Faceless Mage” once per turn.
(1) If a face-up “Eyes Restrict” Fusion Monster or “Relinquished” you control is destroyed (by battle or by card effect), and this card is in your hand or GY: You can Special Summon this card.
(2) If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can target 1 “Eyes Restrict” Fusion Monster or “Relinquished” in your GY; Special Summon that monster.

Well, it gives them an extra Main Deck monster to play around with I suppose. I guess it's nice that you can continuously get the monster back and then Special Summon this card as well, is an easy way to open up the Extra Monster Zone, and also triggers when used as Link Material if that's your jam. Not bad.

Instant Fusion for 1k or Millenium -Eyes Restrict. Optionally steal a monster. Tribute the -Eyes Restrict to Tribute Summon this. Wonder Wand/Spellbook of Knowledge on this to draw 2 and revive the -Eyes Restrict. This gets it in a Main Monster Zone and stops it from being destroyed in the end phase by IF. Also, you can steal another monster should you wish.

Well, this is a neat callback to a Normal monster. Sure, it's Level 5, but with Thousand-Eyes Restrict's new cards and even just Instant Fusion, it shouldn't be too hard to bring out. It doesn't have on-field effects and its ATK and DEF are the same, but it doesn't leave without a little surprise.

It'd be cool to see counterparts of Thousand-Eyes Idol and the like too.
