Fire field spell

If a fire monster is sent to the graveyard, activate the corresponding effect. * if a fire monster is sent to the graveyard by battle, deal 100x level/rank to your opponent. * if a fire monster is sent to the graveyard by card effect, deal half the monster’s attack to your opponent. If this card is being destroyed, you can send 2 fire monsters you control or from your hand. This effect can only be used once a duel.

Problems:

 

1. <Insert Name Here>

2. once per duel effect is the only effect this Field Spell has. This might as well be a Quick-play Spell Card or a Continuous Spell/Trap that destroys itself upon activation.

3. "you can send 2 fire monsters you control or from your hand" doesn't tell the player where the cards go. Probably the GY, in which I say that's terrible.

 

Possible Changes

  • Make it a Volcanic Field Spell, and have it be treated as "Tri-Blaze Accelerator" on the field and in your GY
  • Make the condition "you can only use each effect of this card once per turn."
  • Make it so on destruction it can send 2 FIRE monsters from the Deck to the GY
  • Instead, you could make it so it's more like Dragon Ravine for FIRE monsters (Attributes are always capitalized btw)

I'd like to remind people that card grammar is not something new members are often good at when they first come here. (But yeah, you need the name of the Field Spell because I highly doubt you literally wanted to call it "Fire Field Spell")
 
When a FIRE monster is sent to the GY, activate the appropriate effect.

* By battle: Your opponent takes damage equal to that monster's Level or Rank x 100.

* By card effect: Your opponent takes damage equal to half that monster's ATK.

If this card is destroyed: You can send 2 FIRE monsters you control or from your hand [to the GY]. You can only use this effect of "(name)" once per Duel.

I mean, the card is technically fine on its own, but as already mentioned, where are you sending FIRE monsters to? But yeah, there is some concern with the burn effect when stuff gets sent to the GY (at least with card effects anyway). Make the effects hard OPT (once per turn) and you should be fine. Not really seeing why you need the once per Duel clause for the Foolish effect; at present, FIRE monsters aren't doing anything dangerous at this time.
