So...I'm a Brony...and I'm in the process of making a few My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic decks. Here's a card I created that is a high level monster

The biggest reason why this card is very hard to maintain is because it does not come with a defined attack and defense. This is where it's effect plays a role. You must choose wisely as to which monster you get the attack and defense from. To get the best out of this card, have "Double Summon" in your hoof when your opponent brings out a high level monster (Like Blue Eyes White Dragon). This way, if you have two monsters out on the field, you can summon one more and then bring this card out. Or, special summon this card from a spell that allows you to special summon a level 6 or higher monster. The point is, you must protect this card at all cost.

(I am not particularly fond of the series [well, due to it being a massive trend in the old days here and some other stuff; doesn't mean I hate it though], but just so you get a review, I'll do this one)

Honestly speaking, I am not seeing a reason to use this in the current game. You did say that you are a GX user (so you missed a lot of the powercreep). To be fair, you could just lower this card to Level 6 and it still wouldn't break anything. Yeah, it can get awfully powerful, but unlike like the GX era, there's targeting protection / negation / effect removal running around in the dozens. Effect is potent, but that's about it to say the least.

(Also a reminder about the tag thing if you choose to use it, though either way, card has a similar role. Only difference is that this card would end up with 0 DEF if it hit a Link Monster [despite them having no DEF to speak of].)

I'm mainly a classic and GX. I see what you're saying. After thinking about it, I think a level 6 would work with this card. Now that I think of it, it would be more practical because you'd only have to tribute one monster, which means if you have another monster out on the field, it can serve as backup/protection...

I don't see what the purpose of shuffling your deck would be, since there are few card effects that allow your opponent to manipulate the order of your deck (I don't know of any, but I'm sure they exist). If you messed with the order yourself (like with Moon Mirror Shield or Superheavy Samurai Gigagloves, most of the time, you'd probably prefer to keep it that way rather than randomize it again.

The second effect, as stated by Sakura, is underwhelming in the modern version of the game. Sure, you could potentially steal 4000+ ATK and DEF from your opponent's monster while leaving it vulnerable, but what if your effect is negated? What is this card's Summon is negated? Even worse, what if your opponent has a Magic Cylinder waiting in the back row?

(Any search cards inherently shuffle your Deck afterwards, though if you really wanted to do it yourself, Card Shuffle is a [gimmicky] thing.)

Not like anyone runs Magic Cylinder nowadays, though there are other backrow Traps that can be substituted instead. That, and Breakthrough Skill and some other stuff is a thing (i.e. Strike kills it, Divine Wrath kills it [this one is a DM/GX-era card], etc.)

But yeah, lowering this to Level 6 would make it easier to summon.

So, combining all of you guys's feedback the changes I've decided to go with are

1. Lower to level 6

2. Create a way to special summon this card

3. Modify the effect so that if there are no monsters on the opponent's field, this card's attack and defense are set to 2100 ATK and 2000 DEF
