If this card is summoned from the hand or deck: you can add 1 "Chaos-Mage" card from your deck to your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand. You can only use each effect of "Chaos-Mage Apprentice" once per turn.

If only your opponent controls a monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase, and its battle position cannot be changed until the End Phase of your next turn. If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: you can reveal 1 "Chaos-Mage" card from your hand or banish 1 from your GY; draw 2 cards.

When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is summoned: gain 1000 LP. Once per turn, this face-up Defense Position card cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "Chaos-Mage " monster in your GY; Special Summon that target. You can only use each activated effect of "Chaos-Mage Winged Healer" once per turn.

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon/Set this card without Tributing. If this card attacks an opponent's monster, it gains 300 ATK for each Spellcaster-Type monster in your GY during the Damage Step only. During the Battle Phase (except during the Damage Step), if you have 2 or more "Chaos-Mage" monsters in your GY and/or banished zone (combined) with different names other than "Chaos-Mage Future Girl": you can banish from your GY this card and 1 Normal Trap that meets its activation conditions and discard 1 Spellcaster-Type monster; this effect becomes that Trap's effect when that card is activated.

When you draw this card while your opponent controls more cards then you do: You can reveal this card; Special Summon it from your hand. If this card is summoned while there are 2 or more "Chaos-Mage" cards in your GY and/or banished zone (combined) with different names: you can set 1 spell card directly from your deck. You can only use this effect of "Chaos-Mage Spell Master" once per turn. While face-up on the field, this card is also LIGHT-Attribute.

If there is a "Chaos-Mage" monster on your side of the field or in your GY: Target a total of 3 cards with different Monster Types in your GY and/or banished zone (Spell/Trap cards are treated as having a unique monster type); Shuffle all 3 into the Deck, then draw 2 cards. If this Set card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect and sent to the Graveyard, draw 1 card.

 

Note: You can shuffle a spell/trap card and 2 monsters with different monster types, or 3 monsters with different monster types but not a spell and a trap and 1 monster.

When you would take battle damage: reduce it to 0, then you can special summon 1 'Chaos-Mage" monster from your deck with ATK less then or equal to the damage you would have taken. If this Set card is destroyed by an opponent's card effect and sent to the Graveyard: you can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target. If a "Chaos-Mage" monster is Special Summoned to your side of the field, while this card is in your GY (except during the Damage Step): You can Set this card, but banish it when it leaves the field.

Reveal 1 "Chaos-Mage" monster from your hand or banish 1 from your GY; declare 1 main deck monster name with the same type as a monster that you control or in your GY or banished zone but a different name then the monsters you control, in your GY, and in your banished zone then banish monsters from your hand, field or GY whose total levels exactly equal the Level of the declared monster and if you do, create and special summon it. If a "Chaos-Mage" monster is Special Summoned to your side of the field, while this card is in your GY (except during the Damage Step): You can Set this card, but shuffle it into the deck when it leaves the field.

 

This is the card that makes this set experimental. To "create" a card, you take a card from outside the game state and add it to the game wherever its going, in this case special summoning it. The monster is treated as being special summoned, but not from any specific location. Unlike a token, the card remains in the game after it leaves the field.

 

I wasn't sure what to call this archetype, but then I thought of this:

and that the spell used in the episode was cast by a chaos mage. Thus I decided to call these cards "Chaos-Mages"

 

Yes, these are "Chaos" monsters as defined by http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Chaos_Form however, since they are not "Black Luster Soldier" monsters or ritual monsters, there is no interaction with any existing "Chaos" support at this time.
