FLIP: For the rest of this turn, you can activate Traps from your hand in the same column as this card, but you must first pay 600 LP to activate them this way for each.
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) in face-down Defense Position while you have 10 or more Traps in your GY. Gains 400 ATK and DEF for each Trap in your GY. Once per the End Phase, if this card was flipped face-up this turn: Return it to the hand.



​Kinda don't know why Konami hasn't made more Spirit monsters with other abilities (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ability) it would make them far more interesting and potentially viable in may Decks outside themselves, except Spirit monsters that belong to an Archetype. BTW, this card is also the current highest Level Spirit, and the second Nomi Spirit after Yamato-no-Kami (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Yamato-no-Kami), but not including the Shinobird Rituals for obvious reasons. It Special Summons itself in face-down Defense Position while you have 10 or more Traps in your GY, making it a perfect fit with Paleozoics and the Archetype that inspired its design; The Phantom Knights. It lets you activate Traps from your hand (by first paying 600 LP and only in the same column it is in), plus it can have 4000 or more ATK and DEF by its own effect so your opponent won't be able to run it over so easily. The fact that's its a Spirit that can have such a high ATK means you could actually get away with using cards that support Spirits on this card and even build a Deck around it specifically.

Awesome card ABC Gun! I was going to point out that Amaterasu (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Amaterasu) is a card, but I looked it up and it's not technically a Flip monster.

 

As a Paleozoic player, I really like that this card gives that deck access to a high ATK monster. I suppose being able to activate Traps from the hand is ok as well, especially with Reckless Greed and Paleozoic Anomalocaris, but the effect is a little tricky to use (and rightly so, activating Traps from the hand is a powerful effect. well done for balancing it well). I also love that it has to be Set first, just like Trap Cards do. Flip Monsters and Trap Cards go together really well thematically.

 

But yeah, no more being unable to out threats while playing Paleozoics :) 4000+ beatsticks FTW!!
