Turquoise-Mage Archtype, "once an effect has been activated, I can use it once more"

The concept for this archtype came from a YGO pro scripting challenge called "Project double spell" that I gave to myself. I reposted these cards in honor of improving the implementation

You can reveal 1 "Turquoise-Mage" card from your hand or shuffle 1 from your graveyard or banished zone into the deck; choose 1 effect that was activated (and that activation was not negated) during this duel except "Turquoise-Mage", as this effect's resolution, follow its card text as if you had used it yourself, except for costs and conditions. Also, you cannot use that same effect again this way, unless its activated again (and that activation was not negated). You can only use this effect of "Turquoise-Mage" up to twice per turn.

I know this effect sounds confusing, so here are some examples of how it could be used:

Example 1:

Player B activates and resolves Twin Twister.

Later,

Player A controls Turquoise-Mage. Player A activates Turquoise-Mage's effect, revealing another copy in hand. When the effect resolves, player A doesn't discard 1 card but does destroy up to 2 spell/trap cards. Player A cannot pick untargetable cards but since the effect is already resolving, cards such as Dark Illusion or the effect of Caringorgon the anti-luminescent knight cannot be used here.

Example 2:

Player B activates and resolves Des Croaking

Later,

Player A controls Turquoise-Mage. Player A can copy the effect of Des Croaking without needing to control 3 des frogs.

Rulings Notes:

- The effect that is used isn't chosen and isn't applied until the effect of Turquoise-Mage resolves. Therefore an effect like Stardust Dragon's cannot be used to negate and destroy Turquoise-Mage since its unknown what effect will be applied until its too late to chain.

- You cannot use an effect that cannot be resolved, such as mystical space typhoon while there are no spell/trap cards on the field.

- You can use a trigger effect such as Heroic Challenger - Assault Halberd's when it inflicts battle damage or http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/D/D/D_Cruel_Dragon_King_Beowulf's standby phase effect, as long as you can legally resolve it.

- You cannot use an effect that is reliant on its cost in order to resolve successfully such as bark of dark ruler or metamorphosis.

- You cannot use an effect that is reliant on timing in order to resolve such as dimensional prison or Wiretap because there is no attacking monster or activated trap card for the effect to reference. However you can use mirror force or a similar card since it doesn't specify any cards that are undefined when you resolve its effect this way.

Each time a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card when that Spell Card resolves (max. 3). You can Tribute this card with 3 Spell Counters on it; Special Summon 1 "Turquoise-Mage" monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, except "Turquoise-Mage Apprentice". You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 card you control that you can place a Spell Counter on; place 1 Spell Counter on it.

If this card you control is sent to your Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand. If a "Turquoise-Mage" monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect while this card is in your Graveyard, you can banish this card instead.

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon/Set this card without Tributing. If this card attacks an opponent's monster, it gains 300 ATK for each Spellcaster-Type monster in your graveyard during the Damage Step only. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can add 1 "Turquoise-Mage" card from your Deck to your hand.

If you control no monsters: pay 1500 LP (pay half your LP instead if its less then 3000); special summon 1 "Turquoise-Mage" from your hand, deck, or graveyard and if you do, you cannot special summon "Turquoise-Mage" for the rest of this turn.

Note: "and if you do, you cannot special summon "Turquoise-Mage" for the rest of this turn." prevents the summoned monster from copying Turquoise Curtain until the next turn.

When your opponent activates a card or effect that targets a monsters(s) you control while you control a face-up "Turquoise-Mage" monster: negate the activation and if you do, destroy that card, then you can destroy 1 card on the field.
