Numenculus, the Replica of Deities

FIRE / Level 3 / Fiend / Effect

Cannot be Summoned/Set, except by Normal Summon during Main Phase 1. If there a Monster cards(s) on the top and/or the bottom of each other copy of "Numenculus, the Replica of Deities" in Your GY ( If any): this card gain the effect(s) of those monster(s). also this card gain ATK and DEF equal to half of the combine ATK of those monster

ATK 1000 / DEF 1000

yes my fellow YCM a monster probably makes the card placement order of GY matters. (outside the debate whenever its illegal or not to stack GY of course) this guy over here is take advantage of it by potentially copying up to 4 effects and huge amount of stat ( at the very least by average of 1000 each this will gain 2000 to become a walloping 3000+ stat) and for now well that's it. i just want to see how well its fare concept wise before i crank-up the craziness-o-meter as a base of archetype

(Disclaimer: i don't update cards picture that much so any changes and fixes can be seen and compared to you on the written version)

This seems... extrange.

I like it, and probably there is A LOT of decks that can abuse it (cof cof magic merchant cof cof) but with the minus of being a situacional card; if you dont send to the GY in the early turns, it will be useless. Anyways, i think that if it doesnt have a max to their ATK, it will be to broken.

Is it on Duel Portal? I think that i have a deck that can abuse it nwn

(Excuse my bad english xd)

sadly no. i don't have Duel Portal and haven't learn a bit about coding. moreover that this card effect being quite unique despite its familiar wordings

that being said though maybe i can get my hands trying on the platform some other time

Duelportal is like the old Dueling nexus, it doesnt need coding, the effects are activated manually (Ej: if you activate Pot of Greed, instead of automatic draw 2 cards, you must click the draw button 2 times).

Anyways, if you sumbit this to DP, please pm me!

Is that a chibi version of the Spirit of Fire from Shaman King? xD

I think there's something weird in the way it is worded. There's stuff like "while there a monsters".

I believe it's along the lines of:

Cannot be Summoned/Set, except by Normal Summon during Main Phase 1. It gains the effect of monsters next to "Numenculus, Replica of Deities" cards in your GY (on top/bottom of the cards), Also, it gains ATK and DEF equal to half the total ATK of that monster(s).

The concept is pretty amusing, and I wish Konami had adapted it and had official wordings for it. Maybe adjacent but that's already kinda used.... hmmm..

On one end, a D.D. Crow can screw the setup pretty badly since your card won't ever go back to that sweet spot, but it is still a potentially powerful card to have.

I can see someone using Odd-Eyes Fusion to ditch Meteorburst (Monster negation effect), Vortex (general negation effect), and the like. Or Nekroz ditching a Quasar, among other plays. This card can pack a serious punch and stack very powerful effects. The best part is that those are not subjected to the End Phase limitations these kinds of cards usually have.

my line of thinking was on more monster (super)heavy deck like SHS (no pun intended i swear) or Infernoid. the latter being the obvious-shoe horned design base to abuse the massive dumping effect. now that i think about it i could be genuinely scary that Onuncu and Devyaty sandwich is basically omni negate 3950/3950
