Thomas★Zero Posted October 14, 2017 Report Share Posted October 14, 2017 Anti-Virus Dragon LIGHT LINK: L,U,R Cyberse/Link/Effect 2+ Monsters While this card is co-linked, Monsters you control are unaffected by your opponents card effects. When this card is sent to the GY, Special Summon 1 LIGHT Cyberse "Dragon" Link Monster except "Anti-Virus Dragon" from your GY to your side of the field (if possible.) ATK/2400 LINK-3 So Anti-Virus follows the Line of Link Monsters designed similar to the appearance of Fire Wall Dragon where this acts as the Link 3 of them. As a generic Link 3 it gives protection from your opponents card effects while co-linked and when it dies can allows you revive LIGHT Cyberse "Dragon" Monsters like Firewall, Security or Proxy. Where this card would be a effective generice Link 3 in decks that are able to utilize its effects. Easiest combo would be using a Monster along with Scapegoat to set up a Security Dragon and Anti-Virus Dragon so you can bounce a card your opponent controls while protecting your monsters from card effects. Protection is nice and the best part is that requires just monsters and not cyberse (which for some dumb reason konami keep making Link monster cyberse exclusive). The floating is nice though it can be triggered by dumping it from the Extra Deck as well, but not sure if was on purpose but the card can miss timing if goes to grave as a material for a link summon (or something among those lines). 1 thing on the wording, being co-linked to another link monsters is redundant, it would be just being co-linked. Unaffected by your opponent’s card effects, as in all effects? Prepare to be friendless. Also good recovery so that if Firewall gets lost you don’t waste your resources. Overall, quite a balanced card, 10/10 would blackmail Konami to add it. OOPS, MY SYSTEM CRASHED, I LOST ALL MY DATA, BUT I HAD ANTIVIRUS DRAGON Oh, one more thing: My only problem is that all the good Links like this are either hard to make or have useless sideways Links, but with this... considering its effect and line, I think that’s a necessity for balance and consistency.
