You can only use this effect of "Sakura Crane" once per turn.OK, maybe not that OP because it can only be used on effects that Tribute monsters or discard cards for cost, but it does banish itself and any card it negated face-down so that's something right. I started to notice on a lot of Link Monsters that they Tribute monsters for cost, and that Konami is slowly putting discard costs on other cards and so I thought "why not make a hand trap that can shutdown any effect in the game that either Tributes monsters or discards cards for the cost, and would it break the game". The answer of course is THE GAME WOULD BE OBLITERATED LIKE IF EXODIA WAS RAGING ON IT. The art is gorgeous and the card does what it needs to do really well.No triggering GY effects or banish effects, and no using this card to counter another copy of itself.Also, depending on the wording of the other hand traps, this card might be a great counter to them... though I think a fair amount of them say "send from your hand to the GY" and that might not apply as neatly. I need to check these things up though.... It might be a niche play, but it can be a good call. Oh, and the cherry on top that just came to me... This card is searchable by that Rank 1 Xyz, right? Its effect would only activate if the opponent specifically Tributes a monster or DISCARDS a card, it has to state "discard" for the cost so Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring would not be affected by it.
