[Legacy] [Series 9] Cursed Blaze

Hi! This one was written using Series 9 card grammar because I had the idea... last year. I only posted it now because it's only now it finally gets a picture. 

 

Hence the Legacy tag. Anyways, here is the card:

 

 

 

Apply these effects to Pyro-Type monsters you currently control, until the end of the turn. • This card gains 400 ATK. When this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. Battle Damage your opponent takes from battles involving this Pyro-Type monster is treated as effect damage from this card's monster effect.

 

During your turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card, then target 1 Pyro-Type monster you control and 1 Level 4 or lower FIRE monster in your Graveyard; Return the first target to your hand, and if you do, add the second target to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Cursed Blaze" once per turn.

 

 

The idea is that you can increase Damage output with the help of cards like Dark Room of Nightmare. Which isn't currently a competitive strategy, yes, which is why it goes to Casual Card Design. The second effect is more generic and might even turn out to be more beneficial, by letting you recycle a monster to reuse its soft OPT or on-summon effect, and recycling monsters from the GY.
