Electron Alpha Σ

When this card is normal summoned, you can summon 1 μ monster from your deck in attack position. During the end phase after this card is summoned, unless there is a μ monster on the field, destroy it. You can target 1 μ monster on the field, banish it until the end phase. You can only activate this effect of Electron Alpha Σ once per turn.

 

Magnetic Beta Σ

If a μ card would be removed from the field due to a card effect, you can discard this card, negate the card effect, destroy it. During the end phase after this card is summoned, unless there is a μ monster on the field, destroy it. You can only activate this effect of Magnetic Beta Σ once per turn.

 

Cosmic Gamma Σ

You can only activate each of these effects of cosmic omega μ once per turn.

Σ Logarithms

 

Special summon as many banished μ monsters as possible. Special summon as many Σ monsters as possible from your graveyard.

For this turn only, μ monsters are counted as 2 monsters for the special summoning of a ΣΣμμ monster. You can only activate Logarithms once per duel.

 

μ Exponents

 

Special summon as many banished Σ monsters as possible. Special summon as many μ monsters as possible from your graveyard. For this turn only, Σ monsters are counted as 2 monsters for the special summoning of a ΣΣμμ monster.

 

μΣ Calculations (This card is both a Σ card and a μ card, but not a Σμ card.)

 

Draw 3 cards. Then banish 1 Σ and 1 μ card from your hand. If you cannot do so, discard your hand.

Activate only when a Σμ card leaves the field. Draw a card.

 

μ

(Quick)

Activate only when a Σμ card leaves the field. Destroy one card on the field.

You can activate one of the following effects in a turn and only once per turn.

1) If 2 Σ monsters with the same name are on the field, special summon one μ monster from your deck or graveyard.

2) If 2 μ monsters with the same name are on the field, special summon one Σ monster from your deck or graveyard.

3) If a Σ or μ monster would leave the field, you can banish that card until the end phase instead.

You can banish this card from your graveyard, add one Σ or μ card from your graveyard to your hand.

 

Traps

 

Σ Positive energy

 

Banish all μ cards from your side of the field until the end of the turn (At least 1); add one Σ card from your graveyard to your hand. If this card is in your graveyard, you can shuffle it into your deck, then, you can set 1 negative energy from your deck, but it cannot be activated until next turn.

 

μ Negative energy 

 

Banish all Σ cards from your side of the field until the end of the turn (At least 1); add one μ card from your graveyard to your hand. If this card is in your graveyard, you can shuffle it into your deck, then, you can set 1 positive energy from your deck, but it cannot be activated until next turn.

 

The true core of the deck is the energy engine. They search and set each other, and in doing so, you can get constant Σ1 from your graveyard. Both cards further combo with Σ(The card) and μ(The card) as they can not only get the cards from the grave, they can activate the cards, because Σμ cards are both Σ and μ cards. Other than that, chi μ can be banished very easily to gain pluses, and even search positive energy.

I was going to post the link monsters, but it's 11:30 pm, and I'm sleepy. Tomorrow. I'm thinking 3 Σμ, 1 ΣΣμ, 1 Σμμ, and 2 ΣΣμμ, half your extra deck.

 

Neutron Prima Σμ

1) You can activate one face down positive energy, even if it was set this turn. 

2) You can activate one face down negative energy, even if it was set this turn.

3) You can activate one energy trap card from your hand.

4) you can search your deck for one energy trap card and add it to your hand.

If this card is destroyed, shuffle all energy cards present in your grave into your deck. Also shuffle all banished energy cards into your deck. During the end phase of the turn this card was summoned from the extra deck, shuffle this card into the extra deck, special summon the monsters used to link summon it, then draw one card.

I'm not going to hate at all on the deck, I myself love all kinds of maths, but the name doesn't work. Simply specifying "+" or "-" will apply to every card in the game that has a "+" or "-" in its name. Also, the naming convention of using a series of "+" and/or "-" is very confusing, especially in "+ - Calculations", where both are used, but it doesn't count as "+-". Like I said, I love the idea of it all, but simplifying it would be the best course of action. Maybe use the Greek words for "Plus" and "Minus" in place of the symbols, and then use some other niche to clarify the higher level cards.

 I could make it -+ calculations, which might clear up some confusions. To my knowledge, as confirmed by both dueling book and ygopro, there's no card with + in its name. On the other hand, I found 47 pages of cards with - in their names. You made a great point. I really do have to change that. I'll make - into μ and + into Σ, it should help.

 

On a side note, if you like maths, I have another deck based around polyhedral figures, the isohedrons.

I did check out the Hedron deck, I rather like it, but I am a bit of a stickler. Overall, they seem really great, but the names, effects, and functions don't fit with me, but that's just be being weird. I might try to make a Math-related deck that appeals to my own standards, but if I do so, please understand I am not in any way trying to steal your work. I will make sure the effects and playstyle are different. (Most likely based on Platonic Solids)

​As for the name, once again, I understand what you're trying to do, but just having a series of the same characters for the name.

Again, I have no problems with the cards themselves, I'm not trying to force you to change or erase everything, I'm just saying that having a String like that is complex, to say the least. I have no problem with just the symbols being used, such as "Σ Logariths", it's just the string that gets me. I don't know, like I said, I'm finicky. In any case, good job with the cards, I know this must have taken some good amount of time to develop all of these. Keep on Creating!

I took one look at this and thought: damn this is complicated, I sure hope that these don't actually come into print!

But on closer inspection, the idea seems pretty well developed, just don't really want to give myself a headache trying to work out combos for these. Nice job!
