Neo Space Upgrade: Neo Cosmos

So I know how hopeless Neo Spacians and Elemental HERO Neos are nowadays (and pretty much have always been), and I definitely didn't make this with the intention of pushing the Archetype to competitive levels, but I wanted to give them something that would at least give them a bit of a boost in casual play.

 

This card is a pretty straightforward upgrade to "Neo Space", remaining searchable via Neo Space Pathfinder while giving benefits to "Neo Spacians" in addition to Neos and its fusions. The slight ATK buff compared to Neo Space, now applicable to "Neo Spacians", gives some of them the potential to climb into rather subpar beatstick territory (Dark Panther, Flare Scarab, and Air Hummingbird) if absolutely necessary. The built-in protection, while not impressive by any means, adds just a tiny bit of survivability, while the Neos-summoning effect gives an actual use to Neos itself (as opposed to relying on Alius and Prisma), as well as giving you the possibility to cycle through Neos fusions without starting from scratch each time.

 

I know I've been out of the game for quite a while, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if there is anything that I'm doing very wrong here. Thus, I'm definitely open to any suggestions and constructive criticism. Thanks!

Effect:

(This card’s name is always treated as “Neo Space”.)
This card is unaffected by the effects of “Neos” monsters. The first time each “Neos” monster or a “Neo Spacian” monster you control would be destroyed each turn, by battle or card effect, it is not destroyed. "Neos" monsters and “Neo Spacian” monsters gain 800 ATK. Fusion Monsters that list "Elemental HERO Neos" as a Fusion Material Monster do not have to activate their effects during the End Phase that shuffle them into the Extra Deck. Once per turn, if a Fusion Monster that lists “Elemental HERO Neos” as a Fusion Material Monster is removed from the field: You can Special Summon 1 “Elemental HERO Neos” from your Hand, Deck, GY, or that is banished.

I think you could say "Neos" monsters to encompass both Neos and all his Fusions, although it could also potentially support something else. Then again, that wouldn't be an issue either because this card supports so heavily the peculiar playstyle of Neo Spacians anyways.

 

The new boost is thanked by Common Soul. The no-return or return as only Neos bit is solid. 

 

I recommend the anti-destruction effect uses "Divine Spark Dragon Stardust Sifr" wording. Where each "Neos" and "Neo Spacian" card cannot be destroyed once per turn. In a way that enhances the protection to "one OPT for each", and also makes it a continuous effect that can protect mid-chain like Maestroke or Zenmaines did for themselves.

It also would be great if this card itself was unaffected by the effect of Neos cards, because Storm Neos and Magma Neos will make a number on it, returning it to the hand/deck. Magma's less so, but this card will still not be around to make the Fusion turn into regular Neos as it exits. Yeah Neos Decks mostly wanna go Grandmole and Air Neos, but for the sake of options xD

I appreciate your suggestions - I hadn't thought of Sifr's anti-destruction, but it definitely makes the card a fair bit better, while not being too much since destruction is hardly the main form of removal nowadays. Also, a huge thanks for your suggestion on limiting the wording of Neos-related cards to being "Neos" monsters; that saved quite a bit of wording on the card xD
