Kyumi's AGM Support Thread!

So, I have wanted to do this ever since I got accepted into the AGM, but wasn't sure how to, and then my friend Draconus told me, so here I am. I'll probably start with some archetypes that I know how to use, and work my way up from there, but I definitely want to keep actively using this thread. Anyway, without further ado, the cards.

[spoiler=AGM Archetypes]

[spoiler=Cheetah Racers]

Cheetah Velocity

Quick-Play Spell

Once per turn, when a "Cheetah Racer" monster you control battles, or when a card effect is activated that targets a "Cheetah Racer" monster(s) you control, you can place three Speed Counters on each "Cheetah Racer" monster you control. You cannot Summon monsters from the Extra Deck during the turn you activate this card's effect.

[spoiler=Stuffimol]

Stuffimol Sewing

Once per turn, if you have less than 5 "Stuffimol" cards in your GY, you can target 1 "Stuffimol" monster in your GY, shuffle it back into the Deck, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Stuffimol" monster from your Deck, except a card with the same name as the returned monster.

[spoiler=Chthonian]

I made this as a gift for Draconus, but it should be put here too, since it is a Legacy card I made.

Chthonian Scythe Dragon

Level 8 - FIRE - Dragon/Fusion/Effect - 2900/2000

3 "Chthonian" monsters

This card can only be Fusion Summoned, and cannot be Summoned by other ways. When this card is Fusion Summoned, you can declare an additional Battle Phase this turn. During the End Phase, if this card did not attack this turn, destroy it. When this card is destroyed and sent to the GY by an opponen'ts card (by battle or card effect), you can Normal Summon up to 3 FIRE monsters from your hand or GY except "Chthonian Scythe Dragon". You can only use this effect of "Chthonian Scythe Dragon" once per turn.

[spoiler=Carnimal]

Carnimal Fun Phoenix

Level 9 - FIRE - Winged-Beast/Synchro/Effect - 2900/0

1 "Carnimal" Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuners

When this card is destroyed and sent to the GY, return this card to the Extra Deck. Once per turn, you can target up to 3 "Carnimal" monsters with different names in your GY, shuffle those targets into the Deck.

Carnimal Lagoon Dragoon

Level 1 - WATER - Sea Serpent/Tuner/Effect - 500/600

Once per turn, you can add 1 "Carnimal" monster from your deck to your hand with a Level equal to or lower than the amount of "Carnimal" cards you control. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can banish this card from your GY, Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck or GY with a Level equal to or lower than the amount of "Carnimal" cards you control. You can only use each effect of "Carnimal Lagoon Dragoon" once per turn.

Carnimal Bumper Beaver

Level 1 - WATER - Beast/Effect - 0/1300

You can place 1 card from your hand to the top of the Deck, Special Summon 1 "Carnimal" monster from your Deck or GY, except "Carnimal Bumper Beaver". You can only use this effect of "Carnimal Bumper Beaver" up to twice per turn.

Carnimal Ticket Termite

Level 3 - DARK - Insect/Synchro/Tuner/Effect - 1400/800

1 Tuner + 1+ Non-Tuners

Carnimal Sharpshooter Swallow

Level 2 - WIND - Winged-Beast/Synchro/Tuner/Effect - 1200/1000

ME:

1 "Carnimal" Tuner + 1+ Non-Tuners

Once per turn, you can target 1 card on the field, that target has it's effects negated until the End Phase. When this card is destroyed, you can place it in your empty Pendulum Zone.

Carnimal Shipment

Continuous Spell

When a "Carnimal" Synchro monster is sent to the GY for the Synchro Summon for a "Carnimal" Synchro monster, this card gains any and all effects it had. When this card leaves the field, you can add "Carnimal" cards from your GY to your hand equal to the number of different effects this card had.

Carnimal Bouncer Bear

Level 10 - WIND - Beast/Synchro/Pendulum/Effect - 3500/2500

Scale: 12

(This technically isn't AGM, but its still support for "Carnimal" monsters, so it goes here.)

Carnimal Hostess Hare

Rating 3 - LIGHT - Beast-Warrior/Link/Effect - 2600/3

Link Markers: SW, SE, S

3 "Carnimal" monsters

Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Carnimal" Synchro monster from your GY to a Zone this card points to. Monsters your opponent controls lose 300 ATK for each "Carnimal" monster this card points to. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower "Carnimal" Synchro monster from your Extra Deck to an empty Main Monster Zone you control.

[spoiler=Eclipse Guardian]

Eclipse Aphelion

Quick-Play Spell

If you control a Pendulum monster in your Pendulum Zone: You can add 1 Level 4 or lower LIGHT or DARK monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, if this card is in the GY, except the turn it was sent to the GY (Quick Effect): you can banish this card from your GY, and if you do, all "Eclipse Guardian" monsters you control gain 500 ATK until the End Phase.

Made that a while back, when they were first made, just couldn't find my file that contained it. Yay me, for finding it, even if it is REALLY late...

[spoiler=Accepted Outside Archetypes]

[spoiler=Crystal Beasts]

Rainbow Wyvern

LIGHT - Level 4 - Wyrm/Tuner/Effect - 1800/1200

Well, that puts us at 4 Legacy threads! FINALLY!

Word to the wise: the archetype you just designed a card for was called "Cheetah Racer", not "Speed Cheetah". Other than that, that's a pretty decent Counter spreader.

I'm honestly wondering why Rainbow Wyvern exists in the niche it does. On the one hand, Rainbow Dragon without all the setup is pretty sweet, and combined with the CB support I made, the first effect is arguably more useful than the second (because Advanced Crystal Beasts are a thing in the AGM). On the other, without its ability to attack, and its existing limitation on using its immensely powerful effect, the Rainbow Dragon that Wyvern Summons is a colossal sitting duck, and the first effect will probably only be used as extra copies of Sapphire Pegasus. It's a Tuner, though, so now CB can make Synchro 7 and 8 without resorting to outside cards . . . ? I'm honestly not sure if you've created something incredible or a glorified pool noodle, so I'll reserve any final judgment. However, given that Rainbow Dragon is an amphithere (a dragon without arms or legs, just wings), I find it funny that it evidently loses its legs when it became the ULTIMATE CRYSTAL GOD.

Photon Cipher Striker is good, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Tribute fodder for GEPD, can function as decent R8 Material without going into a hand minus, and its status as a 2K beater means that it'll always have some use, even under Special Summon locks. Maybe not a 3-of, but definitely worth checking out.

I knew the "Speed Cheetah" didn't sound right... Thx for correction. As for Rainbow Wyvern, I wanted to give access to Synchro's and I wanted to have some sort of restriction/drawback to being able to freely summon the boss at the low cost of running this monster in your deck. Also, I wanted to give them another option to do pretty much what Pegasus does, but better. And Photon Cipher Striker was easy since I know how to play Photons well.

Alright, I'm going to bumpity-bump this up with a single-card review, and a text correction:

The effect Photon Cipher Striker grants should be phrased this way:

●If your opponent controls no monsters, except Defense Position monsters, this card can attack your opponent directly.

GEPDrake is an interesting one for many reasons, but I'm going to have to say that the biggest one is probably the immortality play this thing can provide. As long as you keep something, anything from AGMKaito.dek on board, you can hypothetically toss out another Galaxy-Eyes every turn. However, that's kinda the thing. While it blocks LIGHT monsters from attacking, it's pretty easy to throw out a non-LIGHT Rank 8 and attack with that. Maybe a different limitation clause is in order?

Eclipse Aphelion is busted as hell. Maybe if you narrowed down its search pool a bit it might not be as bad, but the ability to grab any Level 4 or lower LIGHT or DARK for free just for controlling a Pendulum Scale is ridiculous, especially with no form of OPT. It's just not okay in any sense of the word, and I could have understood slightly if you limited it to Warriors and Zombies, the Types that make up Eclipse Guardians (still would've probably been worth a Limit), but the pool for this thing is insane. Ghost Ogre, Effect Veiler, most Pendulum Magicians, all the smaller Destiny HERO cards (potentially hazardous given the power cards Nyx is cooking up), the actual playmakers in Darkhorses, the new Mindsealer monsters, literally any Sorcery Hydra (remember their "if I'm added to hand in any way that isn't drawing, I get Summoned" gimmick) . . .

I recommend a fix to that search effect, but the Graveyard effect works well for the archetype.

(Well, you can see Kyumi's last login date/time now so...obviously, you can't expect him to have fixed it if he isn't online. If he were online again, then it'd be another issue.)

But yeah, I don't really have to say too much about Cheetah Velocity because it literally gave them a ton of consistency and ease in triggering stuff. The ED lock doesn't matter too much as they were built to not rely on it thereof.

As for Stuffimols, you need to put what kind of card it is (I'm going to assume Continuous Spell). The summoning thing is fine; least you can swap out for the appropriate monsters if needed. But then again, a few of them are overlaps from what I remember.

Bump for new support!!

+ 8 "Carnimal" support

(These were made by my friend who took a look at my archetype for 5 minutes, and then decided to make support for them. He made these 8 cards within half an hour! Lol)
