It's... not very good.

It only gets you 1 treasure, no matter how many you hit with, requires you to hit with things before it gives you anything (as opposed to itlimoc's oath of nissa-like effect), and doesn't flip until end step. As we've seen, or at least as I've seen, with Growing Rites of Itlimoc, that last one is a pretty big downside.

Cards like Gaea's Cradle and Tolarian Academy are amazing because they are fast mana. Neither Itlimoc, nor this, are fast mana. This even has the further issues over itlimoc of being a 4-drop in two colors, and requiring artifacts. In standard, 4 artifacts requires some sort of niche build or other combo deck, in commander it opens up issues like vandalblast or bane of progress (the latter of which destroys this as well).

After it flips, you get a tolarian academy that can also tap for 1 of whatever other color you may need. That's good, definitely, but worth paying 4 mana, in two colors, for an enchantment that is incredibly mediocre until the end step when, if you have the right conditions, it can transform? I sincerely doubt it.

That said, probaly still going to test in in breya, just because it is ridiculously searchable, and gives me a use for my large stack of treasure tokens.

yea the one or more stipulation really gimps this thing. Plus the fact that it does literally nothing on an empty board. Growing rites will at least cantrip at worst. If you somehow manage to get enough artifacts to flip this thing you can't really make good use of the mana since it flips on the end step. I wouldnt even want this in EDH. I get that wizards is terrified of printing another Academy but this thing is just too restrictive to be usable.

Making it so an evasive creature gets to tap for mana is cool, but this needs a fair bit more support to flip. On its own it is just WAY too slow.

Still looks solid in EDH. In an artifact centered deck 5 isn't hard to hit. The color combination is more so the issue than anything else, but at least Breya has a new toy.

Eh, There's much better options for fast mana in EDH than this. Ones that arent going to break the bank either. The only thing this has going for it is that it's a land. It feels like they tried to combine U/R two main identities (tempo and artfacts) into a card that's trying to do too much with too many restrictions. Some people are saying Grixis improvise can use this In stanfard, but right now the only half decent mana dumps are ballista and Torment or hailfire.

In a higher powered play group this certainly isn't good enough. However based on what I've seen I think a lot of Breya plays will be picking this up.

And yea, not sure what people are going to be spending on the mana on in standard. Does the Grixis lists play Bolas? He's about the best you can do for using a ton of mana.

Cut // Ribbons or Torment of Hailfire, probably.

This is interesting...but not particularly amazing.

Makes a Treasure if your creatures deal combat damage to a player. Um...okay. Just one, no matter how many creatures deal the damage. Although...it doesn't say "this turn" (like Cunning Castaway does), so...does it trigger twice if Double Strike is involved? Or even 1 creature with First Strike, and 1 without? Ehh, even if it does (and I'm not sure), it's still not great. There are better Treasure producers in Ixalan.

Flips during the end step if you have 5 or more artifacts. Okay...that's slow, but that's not too bad, depending on the Deck. Definitely not something I'd really want to run in Limited, unless I've got a ton of Treasure makers.

Okay...turns into a Land that can tap for any color. OR it can tap for blue for each artifact you have. Huh...that's...huh...that's solid enough, in a dedicated Deck.

So yeah, the only real problem with this is the transform condition. It's good...but not great, except in a dedicated build, where it's great, but slow.
