2 "Madolche" monsters
While this card points to a "Madolche" monster, neither player can target "Madolche" Spells/Traps you control with card effects, also they cannot be destroyed by card effects. If this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can shuffle 1 "Madolche" monster from your GY into the Deck instead.

If this card is Link Summoned: You can add 1 Warrior monster from your Deck to your hand, but you cannot Normal Summon/Set, Special Summon, or activate the effects of monsters with that name for the rest of this turn. You can send any number of Equip Spells with different names from your Deck to the GY; Special Summon 1 Warrior monster from your Deck whose Level equals the number of cards sent to activate this effect. You can only use each effect of "Isolde, Inspiration of the Noble Knights" once per turn.

You can return this card you control to the Extra Deck, then target 2 of your banished monsters (1 "Ritual Beast Tamer" monster and 1 "Spiritual Beast" monster) (Quick Effect); Special Summon them in Defense Position.

[spoiler=Zefra Metaltron]20fVnaH.jpg

Wyrm/Link/Effect LIGHT ATK 2500 Link-3 ↙↓↘
2+ monsters that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck
If a monster this card points to that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect: You can add to your hand, 1 monster from your GY or 1 face-up Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck. You can target 1 other monster you control and 1 monster your opponent controls that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck; banish both targets until the End Phase. You can only use each effect of "Zefra Metaltron" once per turn.

[spoiler=Aleister the Meltdown Invoker]Q5vAMQj.jpg

Spellcaster/Link/Effect DARK ATK 1800 Link-2 ↙↘
2 monsters with different Types and Attributes
This card's name becomes "Aleister the Invoker" while on the field or in the GY. If a Fusion Monster is Fusion Summoned while this monster is on the field (except during the Damage Step): You can discard 1 card, and if you do, add 1 "Invocation" or "The Book of the Law" from your Deck to your hand. If this face-up card in its owner's control leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect: You can add 1 "Omega Summon" from your Deck to your hand.

Fresh Madolche Sistart - nice back row protection and its own protection fits the theme nicely.

Inspiration of the Noble Knights, Isolde - Link 2 DL, DR Rota on Legs is nice for any Warrior Deck while its other effect is likely more aimed to Noble Knights.

Ritual Beast Ulti-Kimfalco - gives a nice ATK boost, has a trade off of special summoning after banishing plus can banish itself to bring out 2 monsters.

Zefra Metaltron - this is simply the Link 3 that goes with the Link 2 Metalfoes Link Monster interms of Pendulum Link Laddering.

Aleister the Meltdown Invoker - basically helps you get all you need for Invoker decks while acting as another Aleister for Invoker Fusions.

In all these are some cool Monsters and like the look of Isolde being a Warrior generic Link Monster with 2 downward arrows.

DT wasn't ignored for about half of Series 9—it was DT all along!

My only observation thus far is that Zefra Metaltron has no XII in its name. There is no Zoodiac Link Monster in LVP1.

Edit: The Ritual Beast Link Monster Normal Summons instead of Special Summoning from your hand. I was wishing it did that instead of Special Summoning (so that it wouldn't be bad...), and it actually does! Hooray!

Lol @ people that thought it wouldn't be an Invoked link when literally the full list was leaked and was spot on for the rest of them.

Gofu + Aleister into Meltdown Invoker then Proxy makes Mechaba + Caliga with spare Aleister in hand which is a very strong opener. Thrasher + Aleister makes Meltdown Invoker + Mechaba with a spare Aleister in hand or Caliga + Mechaba with no backup Aleister.

Spellbook engine is nullified a bit now since regular Aleister needs to be used for link material but you won't always go into it so I guess it stays. The card's not overwhelming but it's definitely a massive boost to Invoked. Will be interesting to see what other decks can make use of this since it's fairly generic.

Ulti-Kimfalco seems really funking good just from first glance. Some of the artworks on these are really nice.

So does Metaltron confirms the connection between DT and Draco- story now?

Anyway Sistart is kinda meh but being able to be made by mismatched Madolches are nice I guess.

Isolde is ridiculous. Would kinda force you to run NK in a certain way but she pretty much does everything.

Kimfalco is really damn good for being a combo extender that can be made by mismatched pairs, mitigating one of RB's biggest issues. It being able to do the loop de loop is icing on the cake.

Aleister is good with his genericish mat and Metaltron feels really gimmicky.

EDIT: Actually any warrior based deck can now use Phoenix blade to meme summmon a level 1 tuner for Needlefiber plays. This sounds fun.

Damn, Metaltron pretty much confirms that DT and Dracoslayers are tied. Props to White for speculating that Phantom Roots may be the Dracoslayer, I guess? Still, I'm curious on from where this monster is coming from. I see the Aquamirror there, and the helmet appears to be from Kery/Zefranaga, but other than that, I can't discern anything.

Also, I like that Meltdown Aleister confirms that he and Caliga are the same, just in case someone was still skeptical (plus it is relevant for a DARK Invoked Fusion I made once).

Speaking of Meltdown Aleister, he is my favorite Link of this thread by far. Great Link markers, flexible materials, the Aleister treatment is so much welcomed. Plus with its ability of searching Invocation on its own... you can potentially splash Invoked Fusions without the need of Aleister himself. Also it's cool to see that it grabs the other Invoked Spell/Trap support that are rarely used, if at all. They may become good techs through this card. Keep in mind that it discards by effect too, so it can trigger floaty stuff with it. Invoked Shadolls, anyone?

Metaltron looks interesting. Requiring Extra Deck monsters as material may appear complicated at first, but surely some decks can set it up with ease, especially when it can use monsters Pendulum Summoned from the ED, If anything, I wish the second effect was a Quick effect, for the disruption and all.

YESSSS. The NK Link's not trash! \o/

It acts as another T1 play, so reliance on Medraut isn't as heavy.
BUT it does let you search Medraut on summon, so that's good.

I think the ideal way to use her second effect would be to:
Dump 4 equip spells to Special Summon Noble Knight Brothers and shuffle them 3 into the deck to draw 1.

This lets you use her effect again the next turn. And you can shuffle the cards send again via Brothers.

Or if starts align, you can go Brothers -> SS 2 NK's -> use other 2 NK's to SS Isolde -> Isolde to SS Drystan -> Brothers to Draw.

And you can SS Drystan to protect it (yay, lore), so that's a pretty good move since you can slowly swarm. And she's a Warrior too, so you can equip Noble Arms to her if needed.

Brothers might be ran at 3 now, though, for swarming to get her out. Or Goblindbergh. The problem lies with keeping her on the field though, since everything can run over 1600 ATK.

My only complaint is her search being generic for Warriors instead of just searching a "Noble Knight" card (to search Glory/Last Chapter). And potential to be abused by other decks. But really, I'm just glad she's pretty good.

I just noticed Zefra Metaltron has the Gem-Knights cores attached on the armor. Really, I find this so confusing. This guy resembles the Dracoslayer Metaltron, but I cannot think how possibly these 2 could be related, since they were formed in way too different circumstances. I cannot but go back to the idea that this and Phantom Core are a case of "different universes, similar characters". Then there is the apparently loose end of Chiwen-Zefrathuban-Metaphys Executor, who also happens to spawn Wyrms.

Gosh this DT LINKED to Dracostory is really interesting

I mean Zefra is supposed to be based on Seraphim of the judeo-chirstianity angel caste which the naming also means "fiery serpents"

Yeah fiery serpents did resonate with wrym-types and by extentions Dracos

That being said the Zefra Link is a nice alternative for electrum play to go for being able to maintain your resorces on top of providing a removal that also quasi-dodging for your otherwise low stat link monster that you wanna keep next turn

Ritual Beast one is nice

Isolde seems nuts

If you have knowledge relating to the Kabbalahn Sephirot (which the Zefras are named after) at all, then you'll know the name isn't exactly incidental, as Metatron is the angel associated with heaven and thus the Keter sphere of of the Sephirot, which crowns the Sephirot in general. (Keter is known as The Crown.) So this guy being one of the top dogs of the Zefra (alongside Zefraath, who can be best described as the eleventh Sephirot Da'at, which is interchangeable with Keter in the Sephirot).

The similarities between this and the Dracoslayer Metaltron are easy to make though, as both monsters are composed of parts from their fellows, with this Metaltron possessing all of the G-K Fusion Cores that powered the original ten Zefra while Metaltron XII is made of the body of a Crystron, enhanced by the armour of the Metalfoes, and wielding all of the Zoodiac's weapons.

Well regarding the era of the archetypes debuted maybe its meant to be a paralel universes? With chain reaction trope that 1 character action is indirectly influence the vaguely related paralel twins of sort?

Maybe as both seemingly different story progess the link between their world start to fade and eventually connected at the end

Yes, I did read that the name Metaltron is related to the Sephirot and all. This guy being related to Zefras makes plenty of sense. But it's the connection between this guy and the Dracoslayer Metaltron what I cannot grasp, if there is any connection at all. I mean, could you say they are actually related? With the information currently available, I would think twice before making such statement. In fact, now I'm wondering why is the Dracoslayer Metaltron named "Metaltron" in the first place, since the Dracoslayer archetypes don't have any references to the Kabbalah/Sepirot. Could it be just coincidence?

I just re-read Isolde more carefully and I realized it actually sends the Equips from Deck to the GY. I assumed it was from the field so you had to get those Equips on hand first. That means you can be funny with floaty Equips like Cursed Bamboo Sword and whatnot. It can also outright grab BLS; that would be a fun thing to do. Also, I'm guessing that you cannot grab a Warrior that you already Summoned or used its effect in that turn, or maybe it's missing a "for the rest of this turn" clause like Fusion Conscrption's ?

God the Madolche card is adorable.

And isn't its anti-destruction clause really good? Might not run more than 1 unless Madolches changed greatly since I last played.

The issue is that the Madolche card is too defensive while Madolche's most successful playstyle is very aggressive. Not to mention, fielding monsters to summon it then doing their combo would be pretty hard for Madolches.

I saw this tweet and freaked out because I still thought it was an April fools’ thing.

Madolche has such a huge place in my heart because I had used them as my go-to since Return of the Duelisf. Even near the end of Arc-V I was still using the brilliant fusion version.

I wish it extended plays better by special summoning more monsters, but now I think Madolche can go a more control route, since the Link monster gets 2 free saves on itself and protects your field Spell.

So basically, it should have allowed more special summoning, but it’s still a Madolche Link Monster, so I can’t really be mad.

Also, the “fresh Madolche” implies to me that we will receive more Madolche Link monsters in the future.

Meltdown Aleister got me pondering over something: it's Aleister's DEF, and yet its Caliga "full form" is 1000/1800, so wouldn't 1000 ATK make more sense? Now, one could say that this is Aleister harnessing its Caliga form, but then you factor in that its Prophecy form is 1000... so what's exactly going on there? Was he weakened over time? Regardless, this makes me wish Caliga was 1800/1000 instead.

Well done to Winter for being correct!

Aleister Link is really good. It allows you to play the Invoked fusions (almost certainly Mechaba) in any Link deck that can also Fusion summon (IF, Brifu etc), without having to resort to the clunky Normal Summon reliance of OG Aleister. Also lolnoOPT, not that it means much I don't think.

Isolde might be better for Heroes than Xtra HERO Wonder Driver.

Not looking forward to Ulti-Kimfalco. It's a very good card for a deck that in its heyday took some of the longest turns I've ever sat through.

Aleister is surprisingly generic. Anything that could play Ib can play him, he has much better arrows, and he provides further incentive to splash the Invoked engine.

The rest of these seem just okay.

Aleister in Fluffals, maybe? I doubt they need it but, I dunno, use its effect to easily be able to dump Toy Vendors/Wings from your hand for further extension?

I really like the NK one. I don't even play NKs, but that effect should be fun to use. Too bad that the Bamboo Sword card is the only Equip that can float from being sent from Deck to GY (I believe?). Even so, I've gotta make some working equip thing.

Metaltron doesn't seem that hard to go into (Needlefiber/Aromaserpahy/NK monster > a level 1 > Linkuriboh > this, or, you know, Grinder Golem/Gofu/Scapegoat), but... It really doesn't feel worth it. It's just a big deterrent, isn't it? Or am I missing something?

AGREED. Maybe even 3 Gawayn (maybe). Goblinberg is a interesting idea but I feel it's lack of synergy with Medraut is a bit annoying, but considering the output it should be fine.

I'm also thinking Vylon Matter so you can get your Equips back and use the effects again.

Can someone explain to me we're supposed to get "2 or more monsters that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck" to summon a link? The zefra link basically means it's gonna be a secondary or tertiary part of a link ladder...which is awful for the meh effect it got

Materials: 2 Warrior Monsters

You can only use this card’s name (1) and (2) effects once per turn. (1) If this card is Link Summoned: you can add 1 Warrior monster from your Deck to your hand. You cannot Normal Summon or Special Summon the monster added to the hand by this effect or monsters with the same name, or activate that monster’s effect, during this turn. (2) You can send any number of Equip Spell Cards with different names from your Deck to your GY; Special Summon a Warrior monster from your Deck whose Level equals the number of cards that were sent to the GY this way.

Destiny Heros should run (1) DDR (2) Divine Sword (3) Maybe Premier Burial

You can pretty easily cough out T.G. Striker. You could pretty easily add Stratos (which you wouldn't be able to summon due to using your normal already), and then pitch Sword and DDR to get Omega set up w/ your link.

Six Sam can also use this card, it can summon Fuhma, Genba, and Mushi, and search out Shogun Shien (which is still stupid when combo'd with Shi-En) or Kageki for next turn.

Might be the best in this batch...Black nailed that it would be generic Hero support
