I didn't believe the leak was correct in full. Leaks rarely ever are, as they often have misinformation mixed in. There's nothing wrong with believing a leak, but you've been wrong more than you've been right with them. As for the cards... Madolche is mostly bad, but at least it's a fairy that doesn't require 2x4 Madol/2x 5s. Isolde has a lot of memes, but it's not really worth it in-theme. Deck still sucks. Ritual Beast feels equivalent to the Gladiator Beast, but for a much better theme. Deck still requires high input to get going, for the most part. Metaltron is meant to go hand-in-hand with Security Ghost: Generic ways to summon a L3 with 3 down arrows. It doesn't need to be outstanding, the ease of summon and quality of the arrows are enough. There's Aleister is the gem here. Fusion as a mechanic has gotten better and better, and this is a really easy to summon generic card tahat gives access to Mechaba and Caliga while being outstanding fodder for laddering. VCR_CAT Posted November 23, 2017 Report Share Posted November 23, 2017 re: Metaltron Lore That is, indeed, damnable evidence that the True Draco and Duel Terminal lores are connected, but there are still a LOT of questions surrounding the lore, and I still strongly hesitate to say that both the Gem-Knight Link is Luster Pendulum and/or that this Metaltron is Metaltron XII. Re: Gem-Knight, I think it's been established that the current evidence that they're the same is just too weak right now. Konami could still go "No you're wrong" and we won't know for certain until they release the card(s) that show how these stories are connected, but yeah at the moment I find it just a bit too hard to believe. For Metaltron, the pose is the same and the name (obviously) is the same, but there's a catch: Metaltron XII, in art, lore, and name, is a combination of a Metalfoes, a Zoodiac, and a Crystron ( Metal - METALfoes / Tron - CrysTRON / XII - Twelve Zoodiacs). By how Metaltron XII was made and what it is, I don't think it's the same monster, but there's definitely a connection. We just don't know what yet. Frick, we don't even know what tf Zefra Metaltron even is. According to Duel Terminal 3: Revenge of the Verz, Zefraath was the culimination of the Zefra's and went into a battle against Tierra that lasted 1000 days and 1000 nights (I'm just wondering wtf everyone else was doing in that time, because while that starts out awesome, I begin to wonder what their day-to-day lives become when a huge 3-year-long battle becomes boring; if they just start ignoring it and doing whatever or what, I don't know) and, after which, both just straight-up vanish. My personal theory, right now, is that some of these Duel Terminal links are from different times (Construct being the Construct before becoming entirely Shaddoll; Genius being some sort of being crawling from the remains of the Qliphort after the big battle between Zefra and Tierra, etc.). Maybe, and hopefully, at some point we get the cards that connect the dots, by right now there are WAY too many questions and WAY too many holes to really jump to conclusions. As for the rest of the links, I only have this to say re: the Noble Knight Link: First, why tf couldn't you be a U.A., who the frick cares about your janky, crappy Arthur monsters. Second, why tf can't Konami just give Warriors something good for once, tf are Tellars even gonna do THEY'RE DEAD! That search effect is such a huge disappointment. What happened here in no way proves that it's not going to happen/that the idea is stupid. It is in no way uncommon for a card game to attempt to give a deck a weaker version/enabler of what they had before in order to make the deck function without being too strong. Whatever the grand scheme is, Zoodiacs are involved and I imagine aren't done getting cards. (Unless the Diagram was strictly to make Master Peace, in which case Ratpier may have served her purpose). Isolde, Reminiscence of the Noble Knights: I really like that it's effect is just Warrior, as opposed to just Noble Knight. Sure, you can't use it the same turn, but I thought it was still neat. Ritual Beast Ulti-Kimunfalcos: It's cute how part of its effect is like Daigusto Falco's. But I really like the Normal Summon effect. An effect like this is something I felt Sistart could've used.
