Field Traps!


Field Trap were a mechanic in Yugioh R. Trap Fields are set in the Field Spell(/Trap) Zone and act like a Continuous Trap. They ARE treated as Traps and not Spells, so they are not searchable by Terraforming.

Trap/Field


When this card is activated: You can add 1 Level 4 or lower non-Tuner, non-Pendulum Normal Monster with 1500 or less ATK from your deck to your hand. All Normal Monsters you control gain 200 ATK. Whenever a Level 4 or lower Normal Monster is Summoned, place 1 counter on this card. Once per turn (Quick Effect): you can remove counters from this card to activate these effects:


-2 Counters: When a Spell/Trap card is activated that targets a Normal Monster you control; negate the activation of that card and if you do, destroy it.


-4 Counters: Draw 1 card and reveal it. If it's a Normal Monster, you may Special Summon it.


-6 Counters: Banish all Effects Monsters on the field, in both player's hands and both player's GY.
