Yo, let's funking go, super excited about this. This movie is 10 years in the making. Everyone doing Nick Fury's speech in parts was really nice, and Thanos is looking good. The trailer was completely serious, too. I wonder where Hawkeye was, though, did anyone see him?

Only 2 stones?

Patience, young padawan. I have a feeling by the end of this movie, he'll have 4/5 of the 6 stones, if not all of them. He has Space and Power, Loki will steal Mind from Vision, Strange will probably lose his Time Stone in combat with Thanos and I'm suspecting Wakanda has the Soul Stone. End of movie or next movie will be him fighting for or no-contest-securing the Reality Stone.

So much to talk about with this trailer though, so let's break this down into bullet format!

  1. Vision made himself look more human to put the moves on Scarlet Witch, smooth. As we see though, it's not permanent since it shows him back in his original form as Loki is ripping the Mind Stone from his head so not worried about this in the slightest... just hoping him losing the stone doesn't kill him, since they somehow incorporated that into how he came to be iirc.
  2. Romanoff with blonde hair? Okay, sure, kinda weird, but sure.
  3. Thanos looks freaking amazing! No complaints with his cgi. Hopefully this movie will end with him obtaining all the stones and going god mode like he did in the comics. As far as beating him, their plan better be a damn good one, because Thanos is super intelligent, losing with the Infinity Gauntlet fully powered can easily come off as a complete jobber if they don't do it right.
  4. ...is that supposed to be Iron Spider? Either way, he looks SICK AFFFFFFFF. Also, expecting Tony to get a suit upgrade for Part 2 (Extremis at the least, but one of his more OP suits from the comics will probably be better to combat Thanos).
  5. Loki appears to have sided with Thanos. Meh, not surprised. I kinda wish Ronan was still alive though, I feel like we didn't get to see an appropriately badass fight from him, despite GotG being a great movie.
  6. Scarlet Witch better stop jobbing in these movies, or Disney is gonna have to catch my fade. For anyone who doesn't know, Scarlet Witch is universal reality-warper in the comics, and could theoretically solo Thanos by herself, the only thing holding her back is that she's prone to being mentally unstable.
  7. I'm banking on Scarlet Witch and/or Doctor Strange being pivotal to defeating God Mode Thanos, they will probably be the reasons he ends up losing the stones and weakening him enough for the rest of the Avengers to stand a chance.
  8. Lol @ Hulkbuster Iron-Man, sure thing, my guy... actually, I'm glad they included it, just so we can see Thanos smack that around too... the crowd needs to know that Thanos is no joke.
  9. One of the fight scenes is in Wakanda, so that's another reason why I believe the Soul Stone is in Wakanda. Not sure why it's there of all places, though. Guess we'll see in February.
  10. Also MY BOY WAR MACHINE IS BACK IN ACTION LESGOOOOOO.
  11. GotG finally hit the scene at the end of the trailer; I'm expecting them to not play a major role in this movie (I think the producers even said that), and will most likely only do stuff in the last 20mins of the movie, maybe they'll show up to rescue Thor after Thanos smacks him into orbit l0l.
  12. Noted that Ant-Man is also M.I.A. thanks to the comments. I don't really care if he's in the movie or not, but I'm sure he will be, I just don't think they had a good scene to show of him in this trailer (or forgot considering the huge cast, whoops).

The Reality Stone (or Aether) is presumably still with the Collector after the Asgardians sent it to him at the end of Malekith’s failed assault in Thor: The Dark World. (Coincidentally leaked footage earlier this week had Thanos ambushing the Collector at his base for the Aether.)

Leaked footage?! I gotta find this. I already knew about the stone being with the Collector, but since it shows him only with two stones on Earth, I don't think he'll leave Earth to go get it until the end of the movie, after fighting everyone to snag the Soul Stone from Wakanda.

It'll prolly be a part 2 in Wakanda for the final stone. Bets on whose gonna die?

Fa sho Cap and Tony. Maybe Vision.

Yeah, I can definitely see some folks dying, and then Wanda reviving them with her hax powers (or Strange negotiating with Death, idk). If I had to pick some casualties, gonna guess maybe some of the easy pickings (Romanoff, Cap, Winter Soldier, Hawkeye) and maybe even Hulk. I don't think Iron Man, Spidey, Thor or any of the Guardians will die (maybe Star Lord/Drax).

Any chance Ultron shows up?

Maybe, they made him one half of the big bad in MvCI so I wouldn't be surprised if he makes some sort of cameo, but I don't think he'll do anything significant, nor do I want him to... these movies should be Thanos' party and his party alone.

I'm hoping for an end credit scene in part 2 where he meets red skull with a proposition

Winter soldier won't die, he becomes the new Cap in the comics

Ain't Red Skull dead tho? I mean, since it was the Space Stone that "evaporated" him, I suppose it is possible he just teleported somewhere else, but they'd have to have a good reason as to why he's been gone all this time with no mention of him period.

I don't think they would kill him permanent if they did. There's a super high chance Death will make an appearance since Thanos is obsessed with her, and she's the only one who can make people not-dead, maybe Wanda too if she gets her OG powers, not sure how that would conflict with Lady Death however.

Honestly, I don't even think they'll kill any of the heroes at all, but if they do, chances are they aint staying dead. I could be wrong, though.

That would be super lame and take the stakes out of it

I agree, I'm usually in the same boat when it comes to killing characters who've had plenty of character development and letting them stay dead. The only reason I say they probably won't stay dead is for future films since IW Part 2 is not the end of the MCU. Unless actors have already declared their forthcoming exits from the franchise, they'll probably keep the characters alive and well for the potential of later movies and milking that cash cow even further.

RDJ did iirc?

Yeah, he's the only one afaik, at which there's a few options for people to become IM2, but it'll probably be some young blood character. Everyone else should stick around, maybe Cap will also kick the bucket like he was supposed to in Civil War.

I believe so, yes, some time ago.

Also I didn't realize at first that Thanos totally decked Iron Man with his ungloved hand, kickass.

Right, that was awesome but at the same time I was like "yep, Thanos doing Thanos things". Get ready to see a whole lot of that lmao. I just need Hulk vs Thanos for a solid few mins, Disney pls.

Hulk in Hulkbuster armor... easily my favorite thing in the trailer

Uh... when did that happen? >_>

When we see Bruce, a Hulkbuster arm is behind him. Later, in the same setting, we see the Hulkbuster do a Hulk like jump

We'll see, but it seems like a bit of a reach. I can see Bruce (and not Hulk) using the suit so he doesn't have to go Hulk form, but then again, wouldn't any form of combat still potentially risk him going Hulk form? We also see him in Hulk form anyway and fighting alongside everyone, so chances are it's Tony in the suit and not the Hulk.

I think you're getting Black Panther's country (Wakanda) mixed with the sorceress (Wanda).  But I think there will be a big fight in Wakanda (the country Black Panther owns) where Strange revives everyone.

Nope, as far as that quote goes, I'm talking about Wanda the sorceress. I don't think Strange has a revival spell, maybe he'll pull something out of his sleeve since it's magic and all, but doubtful since that's kinda messing with Death's vibe. I'm open to the idea though, all depends on how the MCU would handle it.

LEGO leaked that it’s Bruce in the Hulkbuster in one of their Infinity War sets

Strange could revive with the Time Stone iirc.  Rewind and all that.  But it might kill him.

Ah, well that makes more sense lol. I'm gonna predict that Thanos ends up trashing the Hulkbuster suit, or Bruce ends up hulking out inside it, either way resulting in the suit being destroyed, which I think would motivate Tony to make a new and improved suit... the Thanosbuster, lol.

Ohhh that's a good theory, didn't think of that. I just suspect if they do go the kill people then jk we're alive again route, it'll have something to do with Death, since it would be tragic to not include her in some way in either of these movies. I can see Strange also bargaining with her to revive his friends if he can't get his hands on the time stone, but I don't think he'll die for it (or maybe he does, and then after they defeat Thanos she's all like "nvm ill give you this freebie, here's your life back").

On another note, the more I watch the trailer, the more I start to realize how much I appreciate this happening. I'm seeing my childhood favorite characters come to life on the big screen man, all together in two films that are gonna depict one of the craziest, most hype storylines from the comics... a surreal feeling, for sure.

EDIT: Found this hilarious parody video, but I'll be damned if this doesn't accurately depict Infinity War part 1.
