The Town's Boardman

Continuous Spell Card

Effect: The first time you do each of the following each turn, you gain 800 LP.

·Destroy a monster by battle.

·Destroy an opponent's card by card effects.

·Banish an opponent's card.

·Draw a card, except during the Draw Phase.

·Inflict effect damage.

Some quest like stuff to gain LP. Not really intended to speed up the game but it helps keeps that LP in good shape!

I feel like Quests would destroy themselves once they do the thing.

As for the things you do in particular, I might make them synergize a bit better. I would think about the kind of Decks that would need LP gain similar to this in the first place. This coulod be anywhere from taking damage to destroying your own cards, but the main bit is that the reward should synergize with the cost. Inflicting damage to your opponent and destroying your opponent's cards doesn't synergize well with gaining LP, since that would make it more of a win more card. Here's a simple but efficient way of doing this:

Spell - Continuous

The first time you do each of the following, place 1 Counter on this card.

● Take battle damage from a direct attack.

● Take 1000 or more damage.

● Take 1500 or more damage.

● Take 2000 or more damage, OR, Pay 2000 or more LP.

● Take damage equal or more than half your LP.

If this card has 5 Counters: You can destroy this card; set your LP to 8000. You can only control 1 "".

Not all that creative, but considering several can trigger at once, has effects that synergize with the reward, and can be played around, it's an interesting card.

I do think unless the card was more specialized and/or a Field Spell it wouldn't see play though, since it's LP gain. Maybe a board clear or win condition could be made going this route, but the things you'd have to do for it would have to be extreme.
