Jesting Archfiend
DARK Level 1 Fiend Effect
ATK 0/DEF 0
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing any number of other Level 1 monsters from your hand, field, and/or GY, face-down, except Tokens. You can only Special Summon "Jesting Archfiend" once per turn this way. You can only control 1 "Jesting Archfiend". This card gains each of these effects depending on the number of face-down banished cards.
● 2 or 3: Gains 500 ATK and DEF for each face-down banished card.
● 4 or 5: You cannot Normal Summon/Set or Special Summon monsters during the Main Phase only.
● 6+: Your opponent cannot activate cards/effects during the Battle Phase only.

Come on, critique the cat pee-pee out of this post, tell me how its too broken or too underpowered and that I have no skill at designing cards. Bring it, I can take it.

I'm not sure I understand this.  So, it can have 1000-1500 ATK, but when more are banished it goes back to 0 ATK?  If all the effects were to stack, I think you'd need the effects to be 2+, 4+, and 6+.

If they are supposed to stack, this would make a decent level 1 deck surprise boss.  Summon it out of nowhere, drop Pot of Desires swing for 5000+ damage.  It also shows an amusing interaction with Eater of Millions which, if it banishes all 15 Ex. Deck cards, can make this have exactly 8000 ATK on summon (banish Eater for 16 face-down cards).  The middle effect I don't exactly get, but whether it restricts you from summoning stuff in or outside the main phase, it really doesn't matter so much since dropping this is more/less your intent to swing for game, but clarifying it couldn't hurt.

Outside level 1 decks, I don't see much utility since its summon restrictions are pretty tight (also of note: since you specify the positions the cards must be in, you can probably remove the "except Tokens" part, since Tokens only exist on the field), but since Desires and EoM are cards, once it does hit field, it can get to some pretty high ATK values.  As a casual card, I like it.  You just need to work on clearing up the text a bit.

This actually isn't that bad of a card. After all, any card can find a good use.
For instance, since there's the Summoning requirement of "any number" of Level 1s from the hand, field, or Grave, you could banish a single LV1 in the Graveyard to Special Summon this, and thereby extend LV1 Turbo Deck plays.

To clarify, the last 2 effects do stack and are applied at all times except during a certain phase of the game. For example, its second effect prevents you from Normal Summoning/Setting or Special Summoning anything during THE Main Phase (either yours or your opponent's) and only that phase but if can use card/effects like Arrivalrevival or activate the effect of a Paleozoic Trap in your GY during any Phase outside the Main Phase to Normal Summon or Special Summon a monster, the same thing applies to its last effect.
