Shaddoll Nephilim
Attribute: LIGHT
Type: Fairy/Link/Effect
Rating: 2
Link Markers: middle-left, middle-right
ATK: 1200
2 Flip monsters
During your Main Phase: You can Fusion Summon 1 "Shaddoll" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Materials. If this card is in your GY: You can send 1 "Shaddoll" card from your hand or face-up from your field to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of "Shaddoll Nephilim" once per turn.

Bringing this card up mainly to discuss if it would feasible to play it along some Shaddoll techs as a "link marker engine", so to speak. I mean, since it has a built-in fusioning effect, all it takes is for you to run some Flips to Link Summon it, fuse for the Elshaddoll with the most predominant Attribute in your deck, and afterwards, whenever you get a Shaddoll card hand, you use this to discard it to get 2 markers in your MM Zones with a LIGHT/Fairy 1200-ATK body, plus the floating effect of the Shaddoll card. Note that you can also discard Shaddoll Spell/Traps, so some tricks in combination with the floating effect of the Fusions may be possible, too.

Needless to say, this is easier to splash in Flip decks, namely Subterrors, but still, there is also that trick with Rescue Cat + Beast Flips like Guard Dog, Ryko, etc.

Thoughts on this approach?

Yeah but that's more of a Shaddoll deck, rather than playing Nephilim and Shaddolls as an engine.

Anyway, Verz also come to mind: they do have some Flips and Inverz Origin can potentially Summon 2 at once after a monster nuke. Also it would give them access to Winda. Then if you get a Shaddoll Spell/Trap on the GY, you can Nephilim --> Fuse for an Elshaddoll --> the Elshaddoll floats and grabs the Spell/Trap --> discard the Spell/Trap for Nephilim ---> rinse and repeat later on, unless you can't fuse.
