Stockpile                    Continuous Spell

During your Draw Phase, instead of conducting your normal draw, place a counter on this card. Monsters you control gain 100 ATK x the number of counters on this card. During either player's turn, you can send this face-up card you control to the GY. If this card is sent to the GY; draw a number of cards equal to the number of counters that were on this card.

For starters, the card is REALLY slow. It takes a turn to start doing anything and draws, which are a fundamental part of gaining advantage.

Next, the reward for not drawing isn't worth it. 100 ATK is literally nothing. You could probably make it 1000 and it would be kinda fine, but I think you could do better than that.

  • Have it start with 1 Counter.
  • Make the ATK increase 500 for each Counter
  • Make it work on any draw effect.
  • Make it so you can only destroy it at the end of the turn, so that you can only profit off of drawing with it at the end of the turn. (since it would start with a counter.
  • Have it destroy itself, and change the effect trigger to when it's destroyed it draws you the cards, rather than being sent to the GY.

Example of card with changes:

Stockpile

Spell - Continuous

When this card is activated: Place 1 Stockpile Counter on this card. Monsters you control gain 500 ATK for each Stockpile Counter on this card. When you would draw a card(s), place Stockpile Counters on this card equal to the number of cards you would've drawn instead. At the end of the turn: You can destroy this card. If this card is destroyed, you can draw cards equal to the number of Stockpile Counters that were on this card.

Seems like the kind of card that people would make Decks based around trying to OTK somehow, but that could be hard considering you're sacrificing any draw power you have for Counters. Having to wait to the end of the turn for a single draw is also a possibility for making it into a staple, but it's a bit slow unless you destroy it manually, which some Decks can do so that would be fun.
