If this card is Special Summoned: You can inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each card they control. If this Link Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Link-2 or lower "Trickstar" monster from your Extra Deck, then inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each card they control. You can only use each effect of "Trickstar Foxywitch" once per turn.

I honestly don't know if I like this card or not. Its Link Arrows are weird even for a Trickstar, its first effect is as straight forward as it gets just inflict 200 for each card your opponent controls (2200 if every Main Monster Zone, Spell & Trap Zone, Field Zone is occupied, and also if your opponent has an Extra Linked monster in both Extra Monster Zones), but its last effect is only geared to work with Trickstar Bloom (but I'm sure they'll make more Link-2 and lower Trickstars soon) and that effect also has the same burn effect as the first. To be fair its Link Materials are the best part about it because it only uses Fairies and not just Trickstars, meaning this card could be splashed in Fairy Decks like Counter Fairies, Darklords, Cloudians, etc. Despite everything I just said I think this card could be used for an OTK strategy with Dark Room of Nightmare and a few other cards, I just don't know off hand.

A good finisher on paper, but the more cards your opponent has the more likely they'll be able to disrupt this. Still, an easy inclusion that should end a lot of games, if not with the first burn then by crashing for a second.

 

I do like that its generic for Fairies instead of just Trickstars. That always frustrates me when I try to build a Deck with them because I want to include other Fairies that could help, then I get those other Fairies on the field and can't Summon the Trickstar Link Monster that I want.

I guess Venus + Shine Balls can = Link Spider + this, and a quick burn.

with the hard OPT clause, there's only so much you can do here. It's straight-forward, as you said. Can max out on around 4800 damage (5 S/T, 5 MMZ, 1 Field, 1 EMZ = 12. So 12 x 200 = 2400, and x2 effects = 4800).

 

Though 8 x 200 x 2 = 3200 so it cannot end an anime speed duel on its own.

 

 

I don't like the sound of that name, but I like the art a lot. So there's that....

I mean, you can bring it back since its burn effect is only on Special Summon.  That seems like it could be pretty useful.  It also doesn't restrict on who destroys it, so you can add some self-destruction engines to trigger this, but you can also chain things to your opponent's Raigeki/Dark Hole etc. to bring this back and burn them twice for free.  I think the burn off this card will add up.

 

Once we get the Hoshiningen retrain, it'll be a pretty generic LIGHT Fairy Link-2 that can help ladder into this as well, opening up the ability for possibly non-Fairy decks to jump into this for a Cowboy-like burn.
