This was a thing I thought up of that works well for railway, while still being specific for the most part. Please tell me your thoughts.

( credit to Eshai below for correct wording and edit ideas )

The Conduction Station

Link 2 / Earth / Machine

2400 attack

Link Materials: 2 Level 10 Monsters

Link Markers: bottom left / bottom right

You can move a Xyz Monster in an Extra Monster Zone you control to your Main Monster Zone and detaching Xyz Materials from it as Materials for the Link Summon of this card. When this card is Link Summoned: You can target 1 Xyz Monster you control; attach 2 appropriate monsters from your GY to it as Xyz Materials. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 Level 10 monster and/or 1 “Revolving Switchyard” in your GY; add them to your hand.

Max ATK for a Link-2 monster is 2000. So i think u must errata your card like this.

The Conduction Station

ATK/2000

LINK-2 / EARTH / Machine

Link Markers: bottom left / bottom right

2 EARTH Machine monsters and/or Level 10 monsters

You can also Link Summon this card by moving 1 Xyz Monster in your Extra Monster Zone to your Main Monster Zone, then detaching materials from an Xyz Monster you control whose matches the Link Summoning requirement of this card as this card's materials. If this card is Link Summoned: You can target 1 Xyz Monster you control; attach 2 monsters from your GY whose matches the Xyz Summoning requirement of that Xyz Monster to that target. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can target 1 Level 10 monster and 1 “Revolving Switchyard” in your GY; add them to your hand. You can only use each effect of "The Conduction Station" once per turn.

I don't think there is a set rule on the stats allowed. Take acid golem for example, who is a rank 3 with 3000 attack or crumble logos and toadally awesome who are rank 2 with 2200 attack.

Right now, it's set at 2000 max for a Link 2 as a precedent (well, it's just a trend and not set in stone). HOWEVER, if you make the requirements more difficult to compensate, you can make the ATK higher. You can refer to World Scars for Jack Knights; Link 3 with 3K ATK, but all its members are high Level and have some difficulty in summoning.

Also remember that Acid Golem does have a negative drawback on it, so...

====

If you leave the materials as 2 Level 10 monsters, then you can leave the ATK as-is. There's nothing wrong with going slightly over, or having it get Link 3/4 power by making the requirements more difficult or adding drawbacks, but the stat limits aren't set in stone.

As for the other user, make sure you explain why you made the changes, and actually critique the card properly.

Correct OCG, as well as small changes

The Conduction Station

EARTH - SW, SE - Machine/Link/Effect - 2500 ATK/LINK 2

2 Level 10 monsters

You can move a Xyz Monster in a Extra Monster Zone you control to your Main Monster Zone and detaching Xyz Materials from it as Materials for the Link Summon of this card. When this card is Link Summoned: You can target 1 Xyz Monster you control; attach 2 appropriate* monsters to it as Xyz Materials. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 Level 10 monster and 1 “Revolving Switchyard” in your GY; add them to your hand.

* I believe “appropriate” is probably the best wording for meeting the requirements, since it makes sense. However, the term has not been used before, so who knows. It seems a lot more efficient though so I’m using that for this OCG correction since nothing else currently exists.

I think making it 2 Level 10 monsters justifies the extra ATK on it, although I might make it 2400 ATK just to keep it away from being too solid of a Link 2, since there’s a big difference between 2400 and 2500. Might also make the last effect say “and/or” so you can add either if you don’t have the other in the GY.

It's not a bad idea, given that you don't always have both in the GY, so being able to just add the monster can be pretty good. Makes it a missus radiant of sorts. The 2400 change is a must I would think, given that cards like firewall dragon are a link 4 with 2500, makes this seem a bit far-fetched in hindsight
