You may want to put that [serious] tag in the title, or the memes will start flooding the thread.

 

Anyway, time for my thoughts. Most of the time that we interact, you typically are agitated and somewhat passive-aggressive. I know that I've pulled the latter too, but a passive-aggressive "fight" does no one justice, I suppose. Also, there are times where your complaints reach Winter's level (if you know what I mean). Not saying that both yours and Winter's complaints are invalid or anything, but it becomes hard to have a discussion and come to a compromise if it appears you are set in stone on what you want. Note that this is what I've observed, and it may have changed given the recent mod promotion (i.e. Broken).

 

Oh, and you've lately (read Halloween) been dropping YCM commitments with little notice or adjustment at all. Yes, real life did get in the way so I can't scold you too hard because of that, but you could have came in, said life was getting busy, and publicly handed the reigns off (you did privately iirc, but I don't think publicly so everyone knew what was going on). I know this part should have been said back then, but I suppose I was getting a bit busy myself then.

 

Overall, I do find you hard to approach. I don't know when we are going to have a disagreement, what that disagreement will be about, and how stubborn both of us will get. But that's enough from me, I suppose.

Your problem is that you keep saying Scapegoats suck

 

Jokes aside, for a little while when I visited TCG, more or less around the time Scapegoat started getting OCG popular for Links.

Regardless of your stance, your posts gave me the feel that you had it all figured out. That:

X card sucks so the people who are running it must be isolated cases of scrubs, and it'll die down soon or remain an ineffective tool that for no reason keeps getting attention.

That maybe I was too out of the loop, and since I don't enjoy the game's competitive scene enough to go study up on it, it wasn't my place to argue a thing.

That if the format is so well defined that your stance is so sure of itself. At that point why do I even post at all trying to innovate with some obscure techs? Even if they are actually seeing some play, you even went all "Dora the Explorer" on the opposition with a "repeat after me. That. Sucks. Very good".

 

Then I could see how people would rise an eyebrow at that thread where you took the conversation with mods to PM negotiations of some sort, when there was complaints on transparency, and I don't wanna throw firewood at Winter's position, but ... well, IDK.

 

and the PM you invited me to make. I know you are busy but let's be honest, it's been half a month and you have been active in other ways around YCM so if you were interested in getting to it, time constraints wouldn't be the reason. I just wanted to formally tell you that you can forget about it.

 

 

All in all, none of the above are reason to call you things that would alter you like this. Please don't mind them. I think you are one of the most productive regular members of the site, and I generally do like reading your content a lot. The above complaints are the less common parts of it. I genuinely like your presence. I don't know if this has any weight to you because I don't think people have ever heard of me disliking somebody, other than me jokingly mentioning Black's harsher days (which I do like Black so I should stop doing that), but yeah, I'm being honest here xD

 

 

Finally, I wanna conclude by stating that I'm not quite sure if you have some sort of inside joke or friendly buddy talk with Dae that allows him to post the above posts, or if I should be reporting his ass for it.
