Ancient Blackwing - Yata the Spirit of Winds
DARK Level 2 Winged Beast Tuner Effect
ATK 200/DEF 100
If you control 2 or more "Blackwing" monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "Ancient Blackwing - Yata the Spirit of Winds" once per turn this way. Cannot Synchro Summon using this card as material, except "Blackwing" monsters. If this card is used as Synchro Material, 1 "Blackwing" monster in your hand can be used as 1 of the other materials.

Ancient Blackwing - Santna the Burning Spirit
LIGHT Level 10 Winged Beast Synchro Effect
ATK ?/DEF ?
1 "Blackwing" Tuner + 2+ non-Tuner "Blackwing" monsters
Must be Synchro Summoned. You can only Synchro Summon "Ancient Blackwing - Santna the Burning Spirit" once per turn. This card's original ATK/DEF is the number of Synchro Materials used for its Synchro Summon x 1000. If an opponent's monster(s) would be Special Summoned: You can banish 1 "Blackwing" monster from your GY, then negate that Summon, and if you do, return that monster(s) to the Deck. If an opponent's Spell/Trap Card is activated: You can make this card lose 1000 ATK/DEF, then negate that activation, and if you do, return that card to the Deck. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card leaves the field by a card effect: Banish this card from the GY, then return 2 "Blackwing" monsters from your GY to the Deck (1 Tuner and 1 non-Tuner), and if you do; Special Summon 1 "Blackwing" Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck whose Level exactly equals the total Levels of those returned monsters. (This is treated as a Synchro Summon.) You can only use this effect of "Ancient Blackwing - Santna the Burning Spirit" once per turn.

Its been a little while since we got some Blackwing support, but then Blackwings are irrelevant now and have probably been powercreeped out of the game so you know, whatever. FIrst thing's first, Yata-Garasu, the infamous Spirit from the ancient days of Yu-Gi-Oh!, back before even Synchro Summoning was in the game, well now he's a Blackwing with a "Blackwing Summon condition" (you can Special Summon it from the hand if you control 2 or more Blackwing monsters). What makes him unique to the Blackwings is he takes a nod from his days as a lonely Spirit monster in that it can use Blackwing monsters in your hand as Synchro Materials to make Summoning certain Blackwing Synchros easier. We also get a Level 10 Blackwing Synchro that requires 3 Blackwing Synchro Materials (which sounds like some bird poop, right), well hold that thought because unlike the last time Konami attempted this (Blackwing - Silverwind the Ascendant), this card gains some benefit from being that hard to Summon. It can banish Blackwings from the GY to negate a Special Summon and bounce it/them to the Deck, same thing for Spells/Traps but instead of banishing monsters for cost; it instead loses 1000 ATK/DEF each time to help you mitigate your resources. So after you've made Santna lose all its ATK/DEF, and an opponent's monster runs it over by battle or Raigeki's it, you can then Synchro Summon ANY Blackwing Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck by returning 2 Blackwing monsters from your GY to the Deck as materials, but you can only Synchro Summon 1 Santna per turn, and even if you could use this effect to Summon another Santna that other one would only have 2000 ATK/DEF and this effect is hard opt, so you're better off just Summoning any other Blackwing Synchro instead.

As I said, Yata the Spirit of Winds is solely based on the card Yata-Garasu except its a Tuner not a Spirit, and Santna was inspired by the near-constant California wildfires that are, in part, fueled by the Santa Ana winds (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Ana_winds).
