Well it's been 3 days, so I was making sure this match was going as planned.

I assumed he's probably busy with IRL stuffs, that's why I extended cards' deadline. If he doesn't show up today, I shall look for another competitor.

I see that we are going for Summoning support here, which should make the analysis somewhat easy for me.

Card A

Our first Summoning support card is a Field Spell, which means Terraforming is a must for a Wicked GOD Deck that wishes to use this card. First, let's focus on how it goes for Summoning support. Given a great GY setup (i.e. 3 DARK monsters), I can just banish them to instantly set-up the Tribute Summon of a Wicked GOD. Though, that assumes you already have a Wicked GOD in your hand. Otherwise, you'd spend 2 turns setting that play up, which really isn't all that bad. I mean, it is slow, but you'd get a powerful monster out of it. That balances it out. The protection effect, well, isn't really all that powerful. I mean, just get some non-targeting removal and we are all set. Though since, I think, most things target these days, it would be somewhat difficult to get around. And if you want both effects to be used in sequence, and/or is needed instead of or.

Card B

And here we have a monster Summoning support card. Instant Tribute fodder set-up is there. The restriction to prevent Extra Deck shenanigans is there (which forces the +2 to only be used for Tribute Summons). Protection effect forces non-targeting non-destruction removal, which is rare iirc. And like Card A, you'd need to wait 2 turns to Summon a Wicked GOD if you didn't already have it in your hand.

So, what's the verdict here. Well, Card B can perform some serious deck-thinning to set-up its Tribute Summon while Card A relies on Tokens to do the job. Card B has a stronger protection effect than Card A has. Both Card A and Card B take the same amount of time to get a Wicked GOD out, even when considering if the Wicked GOD is in your hand or not. I'm going to give this to Card A, considering Card B has a +2 deck-thinning component that tips it over the edge power-wise. Though, both cards do what they do well.
