Hello! This is my first post on this website (after having lurked for years)

 

Anyways, here's an Archetype I made up with the idea of using monster Attributes as a form of fashion: They "wear" the attributes they have and, depending on which ones they are currently treated with, gain and/or apply effects that each help the archetype members deal damage, manage resources, set up fields and/or protect themselves.

 

As with actual fashion shows, setup takes time and careful execution. But the end result is a display of powerful protection, removal and damaging effects.

 

Please let me know how this archetype fares/would fare in play or if there are any mistakes, in terms of logic or text, I made so I can correct them!

 

Monsters:

All of the monsters in this archetype start off the following effect:

  • Once per turn, you can declare 1 legal Attribute; This monster's current Attribute becomes the one declared.

Fashion Twinkler

Light / Level: 2

Fairy / Tuner / Effect

ATK: 600 / DEF: 1200

Effect: This card gains the following effects, based on this monster's current Attribute(s):

  • FIRE: Face-up "Fashion" monsters you control gain 600 ATK.
  • WATER: Once per turn: You can target 1 "Fashion" monster in your GY; Special Summon that target to your field in face-up Defense Position. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this effect, except "Fashion" monsters.
  • WIND: "Fashion" monsters you control can change their Battle Position the same turn they are Summoned and/or declared an attack.
  • EARTH: The Summoning of your "Fashion" monsters cannot be negated by your opponent.

Fashion Trickster

Dark / Level: 2

Fairy / Tuner / Effect

ATK: 1200 / DEF: 600

Effect: This card gains the following effects, based on this monster's current Attribute(s):

  • FIRE: If a "Fashion" monster you control attacks an opponent's monster, before damage calculation: Destroy that opponent's monster.
  • WATER: Once per turn, you can activate this effect; Send 1 "Fashion" card from your Deck to the GY.
  • WIND: Once per turn: If a "Fashion" monster(s) is Summoned or has its battle position changed (and is still face-up); Draw 1 card.
  • EARTH: The activation and effects of your "Fashion" cards cannot be negated by your opponent.

Fashion Knight

Light / Level: 3

Warrior / Effect

ATK: 1600 / DEF: 1000

Effect: This card gains the following effects, based on this monster's current Attribute(s):

  • FIRE: "Fashion" monsters you control can attack twice during each Battle Phase.
  • WATER: Once per turn: You can target 1 "Fashion" Spell/Trap card in your GY; Add that target to your hand.
  • WIND: Once per turn, you can activate this effect: Special Summon 1 "Fashion" monster from your hand. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this effect, except "Fashion" monsters.
  • EARTH: "Fashion" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle.

Fashion Magician

Dark / Level: 3

Spellcaster / Effect

ATK: 1000 / DEF: 1600

Effect: This card gains the following effects, based on this monster's current Attribute(s):

  • FIRE: If a "Fashion" monster you control attacks: At the start of the Damage Step: Inflict 600 damage to your opponent.
  • WATER: Once per turn: You can discard 1 "Fashion" Spell/Trap card; Add 1 "Fashion" card from your GY or Deck to your hand.
  • WIND: Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up "Fashion" Spell/Trap card you control; Return that target to the hand.
  • EARTH: You take no battle damage from battles involving "Fashion" monsters you control.

Fashion Model

Light / Level: 5

Psychic / Synchro / Effect

ATK: 1800 / DEF: 2400

Summoning Condition: 1 "Fashion" Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuner "Fashion" monsters.

Effect: This card gains the following effects, based on this monster's current Attribute(s):

  • FIRE: Any damage dealt by a "Fashion" monster is doubled.
  • WATER: Once per turn: You can target 1 "Fashion" card in your GY; Shuffle that target into the Deck, also after that, banish 1 card your opponent controls.
  • WIND : Once per turn, during either player's turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up "Fashion" monster you control; Return that target to the hand.
  • EARTH: Face-up "Fashion" cards you control cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects.

Fashion Designer

Dark / Level: 5

Psychic / Synchro / Effect

ATK: 2400 / DEF: 1800

Summoning Condition: 1 "Fashion" Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuner "Fashion" monsters.

Effect: This card gains the following effects, based on this monster's current Attribute(s):

  • FIRE: "Fashion" monsters you control can attack your opponent directly.
  • WATER: Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; Add 1 "Fashion" monster from your Deck to your hand.
  • WIND: Once per turn, during either player's turn (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 "Fashion" card in your GY, then target 1 card your opponent controls; Shuffle that target to the Deck.
  • EARTH: Face-up "Fashion" cards you control cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects.

Elemental Fashionista Doriado

Light / Link: 2 (Bottom Left, Bottom Right)

Fairy / Link / Effect

ATK: 1400

Summoning Condition: 2 "Fashion" monsters

Effect: Monsters this card points to are treated with this monster's current Attribute(s) in addition to their current Attribute(s). If this card leaves the field; Special Summon 1 "Fashion" monster from your Deck or GY.

Fashion Runway

Field Spell

Face-up "Fashion" monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF for each different Attribute on your field. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up "Fashion" monster you control, whose current Attribute(s) is different from its original Attribute, then declare 1 legal Attribute that is different from the targeted monster's current Attribute(s); That targeted monster is treated with the declared Attribute in addition to its current Attribute(s) until the end of this turn (even if this card leaves the field.) You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this effect, except "Fashion" monsters.

 

Fashion Show

Continuous Spell

Once per turn, during your Main Phase: If a face-up "Fashion" monster's Attribute(s) is changed or altered by a card effect, you can activate this effect: You can Normal Summon 1 "Fashion" monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set (You can only gain this effect once per turn). You can only control 1 "Fashion Show".

 

Fashion Line

Continuous Spell

Once per turn, during either player's turn: If the Attribute(s) of a face-up "Fashion" monster(s) is changed or altered by a card effect; Draw 1 card. You can only control 1 "Fashion Line". If this card is in your GY during your Draw Phase; You can add this card from your Graveyard to your hand instead of drawing a card(s) for your Draw Phase.

 

Fashion Magazine

Equip Spell

When this card is activated, declare 1 legal Attribute that is different from the equipped monster's current Attribute(s); the equipped monster is treated with the declared Attribute in addition to it's current Attribute(s). If the equipped monster is a "Fashion monster"; It gains 600 ATK an DEF. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, destroy this card instead.

 

Fashion Sense

Quick-Play Spell

Target 1 face-up monster you control and declare 1 legal Attribute that is different from the monster's current Attribute(s); Until the end of this turn, the targeted monster is treated with the declared Attribute in addition to its current Attribute(s). During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the GY (Quick Effect): You can banish this card from your GY; Face-Up "Fashion" monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's card effects until the end of this turn.

Mal-Fashion

Normal Trap

Target 1 face-up monster you control; Until the End Phase, its current Attribute is treated as LIGHT, DARK, FIRE, WATER, WIND and EARTH, also destroy it at the end of this turn. If this card is in your GY, except the turn it was sent there: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 face-up monster you control; Until the End Phase, its current Attribute is treated as LIGHT, DARK, FIRE, WATER, WIND and EARTH, also destroy it at the end of this turn.
