Phelphor, of the Deep Posted January 10, 2018 Report Share Posted January 10, 2018 What is a Stand? A Stand is a supernatural power unique to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. A Stand is an entity psychically generated by its proprietor, generally referred to as a Stand User. It is viewed as a physical manifestation of the User's fighting spirit. A Stand generally presents itself as a figure hovering near the user and possesses abilities beyond that of an ordinary human, which, depending on the Stand User, can be wielded for good or for evil. Stands are defined as personifications of "life energy" whose abilities are given visual form. A Stand can also represent the manifestation of an individual's innate "fighting spirit" and embodies, to an extent, the individual's psyche. However, Stands may also derive through the exploration of possibilities and expression of the mind, in which case, only a large amount of mental strength is required. Beyond that definition, Stands present themselves in a large variety of forms and with different behaviors, if they are sentient at all. They follow a loose set of rules that are regularly broken, and there is no real standard by which one can fully classify Stands. As an embodiment of someone's psyche, Stands are therefore as varied as human minds can be. So with that you know what a Stand is so the question is how can we translate into yugioh while make it a new monster type? Simple! ALL PREVIOUS MONSTERS ARE OR COULD BE STAND USERS MONSTERS (STAND MONSTERS acts a stand to already established monsters) How will they work? Similar to equips/union/pendulum only requiring their "USER" monster and maybe an additional cost to pop them out from the extra deck. They will equip on like union monster and placed in one of the pendulum zone (in the S/T zone) that can be Special Summon to the Extra Deck Monster Zone when ready for battle. The are "linked" similar to link monsters and monsters they are link to and if the monster they are link to (stands can only be linked to one monster similar to unions) leaves the field, they go back to the extra deck just waiting to be resummoned which is similar to pendulums. Everything making since thus far? GREAT I knew you would understand it unless you may be a complete Tell me what you think and maybe drop down some of your recommendations on who will be a stand user (Already got something for Dark Magician, Blue Eyes White Dragon, Red Eyes Black Dragon and, Summoned Skull!)
