Ryusei the Morning Star
Altergeist EmulelfContinuous Trap Card(1) Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Spellcaster/LIGHT/Level 4/ATK 1400/DEF 1800). (This card is also still a Trap Card.)(2) While you control this card that was Special Summoned by its own effect, “Altergeist” Trap Cards you control (except this card) cannot be targeted by, or destroyed by, card effects. It can't protect itself, but given all the altergeists summon off trap activation this can help with link summoning. The protection for spoofing and protocal are also nice if on the off chance you're unable to link summon this turn
Premier Alexander Romanov
I was wondering when the Altergeists would get a Trap Monster. While only having 1800 DEF, she protects not only herself but all of your Traps as well, and can be used to quickly give an Altergeist Link Monster something in a linked zone, which they usually need to benefit from. Premier Alexander Romanov
(except this card)Aww...Still, my point stands. She's versatile, either protecting your vital Traps, or just serving as a quick Link Material.
Atypical-Abbie
Having a Trap monster is never bad, free Special Summon. The protection is nice too for a reactionary play.
