President Trump: Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?

President Trump grew frustrated with lawmakers Thursday in the Oval Office when they discussed protecting immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as part of a bipartisan immigration deal, according to several people briefed on the meeting.

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, according to these people, referring to countries mentioned by the lawmakers.

Trump then suggested that the United States should instead bring more people from countries such as Norway, whose prime minister he met with Wednesday. The president, according to a White House official, also suggested he would be open to more immigrants from Asian countries because he felt they help the United States economically.

No, it's not "savage". It's not funny, or worth laughing it. Trump is purposefully being racist towards those people to further justify his blatant xenophobia.

It's not racist, at all. He didn't say they were bad because "hurr durr they have negroes", they just are.

how's he being racist?

From the article that you yourself linked:

“Why do we need more Haitians?” Trump said, according to people familiar with the meeting. “Take them out.”

He's criticizing the countries to incite hatred against the people from those countries, and is explicitly saying to leave people out of deal. He wants laws to be structured to explicitly leave out people from certain cultures, which is pretty racist.

Roxas is referring to Trump's willingness to accept immigrants from Norway (a European predominantly white country) compared to those of Africa (and who the president deems these people still live in huts and all have aids).  Because the latter statement is an ignorant oversight and blatantly false, and the former is ironic because Norway is a country with more socialist programs which the president does not like, it appears as favoritism and racism.  I'm not sure how this was missed considering the president actually said these things, but this post is for clarity.

I'm okay with not dismissing people as being racists, as it's too all encompassing and dehumanizing, which is the problem with racism itself.

That being said, I'd find it hard to believe that Donald Trump carries no racism in his heart.  He says racist things a lot and I mean a lot.  He has a very harmful lack of empathy towards these countries and that is not okay.

Why would you want people from sheet hole counties coming here? My only point of disagreement is that Norway is also an shithole

Most of the things he's said over the course of his presidency.  For some reason, he believes Africans are still savages who live in huts.  He also believes that all Haitians have aids.  These are things he's said.

Here are some sample articles but there are plenty of resources out there.

Sure.  Denying something doesn't make it false, however.  You can deny you don't breathe oxygen but that doesn't suddenly make your claim true.

NYT started the story, and then every other source reported

If you say you saw a unicorn, and ten people report that you say you saw a unicorn.

11 people did not see a unicorn

There's a sheet of generals in the room lying then and willing to put a name to their denial. NYT and it's source aren't

LOL

Those all reference the same report which can't be proved or anything, which is just "he said she said", it's not a credible source.

The entirety of the argument was refuted because "he said she said" by "he said she said".

You think when something comes out of the White House by the press and every news station and outlet across the country reference it, it's suddenly "he said she said"?  If that's indeed true, then why should we believe anything that comes out of the White House?  At all?

Because those can be proven through videotape or audio recording or etc, here it's not only not taped or multiple sources saying he said it, it's one source with many others commenting on the story.

You mean someone other than the reporters?  Are we so readily discrediting reporters that everything they say is fake?  Is that how far into the rabbit hole y'all have your heads?  Anytime, and I mean anytime, Trump has been discredited, it's been "a bad source" or "fake news" cuz the White House said so.

That's pretty disingenuous.

That's pretty disingenuous.

>Candidate Trump told Flynn to contact and get the Russian to pose a unified front on sanctions and Israel

>Stock Market Drops 300 points, billions of US wealth lost

>Correction, president elect trump

Oh ok

>Trump tells CDC to remove "science" and other words from their report

https://www.snopes.com/2017/12/15/trump-administration-bans-cdc-officials-using-certain-words/

>I want to assure you there are no banned words at CDC. We will continue to talk about all our important public health programs. — Dr Brenda Fitzgerald (@CDCDirector)

Oh ok

Yeah I'm not buying anon sources from people who don't have the stones to put their names to what they wanna put out

They've repeatedly made a mockery of themselves in the recent year, and these are only the two that impacted me personally in the last month
