Pendulum-Angels and Elven Mage Paladins redone

The pendulum-angels exist to support the elven mage paladins along with a few other cards not posted here. Thus each pendulum-angel's effect is relatively simple but hopefully useful.

Once per turn, if you have a "Pendulum-Angel" card in your other pendulum zone: you can target 1 of your banished "Pendulum-Angel" monsters; add that target to your hand.

When this card declares an attack: All "Pendulum-Angel" monsters you currently control gain 300 ATK, until the end of the Battle Phase. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: draw 1 card.

Each turn, the first card(s) in your Pendulum Zone that would be destroyed by an opponent's card effect, is not destroyed.

---

The activation of your LIGHT monsters' effects cannot be negated. If this card in a monster zone is destroyed: Draw 1 card.

If you have a "Pendulum-Angel" card in your other pendulum zone: you can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Emerald Gaze Pendulum-Angel" once per turn.

if this card is Pendulum Summoned from the hand while you control a "Pendulum-Angel" card with a different name: you can draw 2 cards. You can only use this effect of "Emerald Gaze Pendulum-Angel" once per turn.

Once per turn, if you have a "Pendulum-Angel" card in your other pendulum zone: you can target 1 face-up card on the field; destroy that target.

When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your graveyard.

If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.  If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: you can add 1 "Pendulum-Angel" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Elven Pendulum-Angel". You can only use this effect of "Elven Pendulum-Angel" once per turn. If this card is banished while you control a "Pendulum-Angel" card: you can draw 1 card.

You can special summon this card (from your hand or GY) by tributing 1 "Pendulum-Angel" monster you control. You can only Special Summon "Elven Mage Paladin - Ruby" once per turn this way. When this card destroys a monster by battle: You can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. You can banish 1 "Pendulum-Angel" monster from your hand, field, extra deck, or GY to target 1 synchro or xyz monster you control; send it to the GY and if it left the field this way, special summon from your extra deck, 1 synchro or xyz monster with the same original type but 1-2 level/ranks higher then that target's original level/rank (this is a synchro or xyz summon respectively) and if you do, attach the top 2 cards of your GY to that monster as xyz materials (if possible). You can only use this effect of "Elven Mage Paladin - Ruby" once per turn.

 

Notes:

 

Ruby allows for repeated rank-up plays in the style of Eliphas from zexal, though you can also summon synchro monsters for increased flexibility

You can special summon this card (from your hand or GY) by tributing 1 "Pendulum-Angel" monster you control. You can only Special Summon "Elven Mage Paladin - Sapphira" once per turn this way. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: Draw 1 card. You can banish 1 "Pendulum-Angel" monster from your hand, field, extra deck, or GY to declare the name of 1 normal or quick=play spell card that special summons when its activated; apply that card's effect when its activated. You can only use this effect of "Elven Mage Paladin - Sapphira" once per turn and can only declare each card name once per duel this way.

 

Rulings/effect explanation for :

"You can banish 1 "Pendulum-Angel" monster from your hand, field, extra deck, or GY to declare the name of 1 normal or quick-play spell card that special summons when its activated; apply that card's effect when its activated. You can only use this effect of "Elven Mage Paladin - Sapphira" once per turn and can only declare each card name once per duel this way."

 

This effect behaves similarly to double spell in the sense that you don't target anything with the copied effect until it resolves. However unlike double spell you don't pay costs or meet conditions of the card you declare (eg: you don't need a machine for iron call or to pay LP costs. You must still be able to legally resolve your declared card however. Thus you cannot declare iron call if you don't have vaild a monster to summon with it.

 

Any cards that the effect interacts with are treated as being affected by sapphira's effect. EG Silent magician LV8 will be affected if you declare magical dimension even though its immune to spell effects.

 

"...can only declare each card name once per duel this way." means that after you declare a card name EG soul charge, you cannot declare the same card again during that duel.
