KingofMayhem
So I just found Duel Network's spiritual successor: Duel Nexus. It's pretty cool! Although it lacks a lot of the options that made Duel Network so great, its still "under construction", so there's room for improvement! Anyway I just posted this to inform anyone who's not aware of this site that it exists and its a pretty decent dueling sim for those looking to build decks from real cards. Right now there are really only competitive players on it since the site doesn't have the options available that cater to fans of Traditional Format, but if anyone wants to test out a non-competitive deck on there, or just have a fun, Trad format duel, hit me up on here or there! My name is the same on both sites. It's time to duel! https://duelingnexus.com/
Sander
We already have Dueling Book, so Nexus is pretty moot tbqh.
Snatch Steal
Not only is this simulator in general dysfunctional, but it's been out since December 2016.
KingofMayhem
You mean there's a better one? *races off to Duelingbook*
Dova
Wait, what? I swear...I swear this was something else. Like, the Nexus I remember was something you had to download an engine for, then it was some sort of RPG...I completely forgot about this version. oshit it remembers my login details from jan That makes life a lot easier to play with Nexus players. Although I can't understand why one would play Nexus over Book.

Other than that, I have no idea why you'd use it.
xlArisenRoselx
I use Nexus becuz of two reasons: 1. Duelingbook doesnt work on most of my devices2. The ones it DOES work on, I have tried and I don't like the freeflow of DB. I like how everything on Nexus is strictly stick to the rulebook, and knows what u can and can't do. DB u need to know the minor rules so u can play accordingly. Also, DB is almost entirely chat based. "I activate my spell effect" or "Normal Summon" things like that. With Nexus, u never have to wonder, "Did I/they do that right?" becuz it won't let u mess up. I get that freedom is probs why peeople like DB, but u can even get rid of automatic chaining becuz they knew people would be against that. And it doesnt affect anything for the other person either. Tbh, Nexus is the better option in my opinion. ================================================ Speaking of which, I will gladly take u up on that offer tomorrow. My username is Kyumi_Duels. I am warning u, I am pretty good with Lightsworns.
~ P O L A R I S ~
The main issue with Nexus is that you can't declare card names, so if something like Akashic Magician tries to use its effect that does, the game freezes up until you lose by timeout. Otherwise it's more or less a YGOPro without downloads, so it's alright for testing and the like.
goodfusion
YGOPro does not work on my computer, so to play Yugioh on my computer I have to choose between Nexus and Book. Usually I play on Dueling Nexus because it is automatic which means I don't have to argue with idiots like I would have to on DuelingBook. It also lags a lot less. It's not perfect as it takes A LONG TIME for Nexus to update with new cards, and as Polaris mentioned, it still has a some glitches (although not as many as it used to have). I mainly prefer DuelingBook when building decks. The card search feature is better and it updates faster. But for playing, I usually use Dueling Nexus. Dova
Yeah, after a bit of playtesting, it seems...better. I always preferred YGOPro to DB, and seeing an automated version is pretty neat. Having a bot is also great. I'm DovaNexus, but I probably won't be able to Duel for a while, considering how many reviews I should be doing XD
xlArisenRoselx
See, Nexus is pretty great! Anywho, I'm down to duel someone there, but we have to schedule a time.
