Spell Boost

[Normal Spell]

Show your Opponent 2 Normal-Spellcards with different names from your deck, your opponent chooses one of them, pay 500 Life Points, banish the chosen card and Shuffle the other card back to your deck. Then activate the effect of the banished Card. You can only use one "Spell Boost" per turn.

This sounds really troublesome.

So you can instantly get Pot of Desires from your Deck, and at a minimal price of 500 LP, you draw your 2 cards without having to banish the other 10.

Or your Raigeki/Dark Hole/Kaiju Slumber is not at 4 slots even though the cards themselves are limited.

You also don't have any "Once per turn" clause so you can have multiples of Spell Boost and even tech in Magical Stone Excavation to recycle Spells further without having to discard.

There's a ton of abuse for this card to have.

I have 2 suggestions for it:

First, I recommend you add to it the line You can only use 1 "Spell Boost" per turn. at the end

Second, I think it'd be adding a lot more text to it but it'd be totally worth it if you excavated up until you found a Normal Spell, then used that effect on that particular Spell. It would be a huge nerf that made it more unreliable, but that's without saying because as is right now, the card is way too reliable.
Or you could also do something similar to what "Pantheism of the Monarchs" or "Power Tool Dragon" do, and reveal X number of Normal Spells and have the opponent give you 1 of them to be used like this instead. Which would require a minimum.
Personally, knowing myself, I'd probably combine both options and excavate until I found, say, 3 Normal Spells, and have the opponent choose 1 for this, and re-shuffle everything back.

^For the second suggestion, it doesn't have to be either of them at all, though I do think it needs to change something somewhere.

Nah, it's still too broken. Putting aside the "no cost" portion, you could simply play 2 spells with the same name, such as machine dupe or pot of D, and get insane advantage off of this one card. It lets you search any spell card as long as you have 2 copies in the deck, and that's just a bit too good.
