I'm going to assume this is a Link 4 Spellcaster and not a Level 10.

 

But that being said, unless the opponent summons really good monsters to the Link Markers, there's not too much reason to run this over generic Link 4s that don't shut off your ED summons (bar for that lone one you can use on your end). There's also the matter of this copying Xyz Monsters (and yeah, it'd make no sense for it to copy detach effects when it cannot even have materials on it). 

 

Then again, nothing is stopping the opponent from using the affected monsters as Tribute fodder or something.

With Spellcasters, I think they'd rather make Quintet at this point.
