Power Plants ( PVZ Heroes Design )

This is an idea I had for an archetype based off of a game I play called PVZ Heroes ( I would recommend, it's pretty good ) and the plants that they have there. I wanna make this better so please leave your thoughts below

 

Power Plant - Sunflower

Level 1 / Earth / Plant

0 attack / 0 defense

 

This card cannot be used as link, xyz, fusion, or synchro material and cannot be tributed, unless it’s for the tribute of a Plant type monster. During each draw phase; you may draw 1 card.

 

Power Plant - Twin Sunflower

Level 2 / Earth / Plant

0 attack / 0 defense

 

This card cannot be used as link, xyz, fusion, or synchro material and cannot be tributed, unless it’s for the tribute of a Plant type monster. During each draw phase; you may draw 2 cards

 

Power Plant - Sun Shroom

Level 3 / Earth / Plant

0 attack / 0 defense

 

This card cannot be used as link, xyz, fusion, or synchro material and cannot be tributed, unless it’s for the tribute of a Plant type monster. During each draw phase; you may draw 1 card. The amount of cards drawn by this effect is increased by 1 for each time this effect is activated and resolved ( max: 3 )

 

Power Plant - Primal Sunflower

Level 4 / Earth / Plant

0 attack / 0 defense

 

This card cannot be used as link, xyz, fusion, or synchro material and cannot be tributed, unless it’s for the tribute of a Plant type monster. During each draw phase; you may draw 1 card for each monster on both player’s fields

 

Power Plant - Poppin’ Poppies

Level 10 / Earth / Plant

2800 attack / 3000 defense

 

Cannot be special summoned from the deck, except by the effect of a “Power Plant” monster. This card cannot be tribute summoned, unless it is tribute summoned using exactly 3 Plant type monsters you control. When this card is summoned, you can special summon any number of “Lil’ Buddy” (Plant/Earth/Level 1/0 attack/0 defense) to your field with the following effect

  • If this card is summoned; you can gain 1000 lifepoints

 

Power Plant - Power Flower

Level 10 / Earth / Plant

3500 attack / 3000 defense

 

Cannot be special summoned from the deck, except by the effect of a “Power Plant” monster. This card cannot be tribute summoned, unless it is tribute summoned using exactly 3 Plant type monsters you control. If your opponent controls no cards in this card’s column, this card can attack your opponent directly. During each draw phase; you can gain 1000 lifepoints for each Plant type monster you control.

 

Power Plant - Dandy Lion King

Level 10 / Earth / Plant

2500 attack / 3000 defense

 

Cannot be special summoned from the deck, except by the effect of a “Power Plant” monster. This card cannot be tribute summoned, unless it is tribute summoned using exactly 3 Plant type monsters you control. When this card is summoned; halve your opponent lifepoints. After this effect resolves your opponent takes no effect damage for the rest of this turn

 

Power Plant - Astro Vera

Level 10 / Earth / Plant

2000 attack / 2000 defense

 

Cannot be special summoned from the deck, except by the effect of a “Power Plant” monster. This card cannot be tribute summoned, unless it is tribute summoned using exactly 3 Plant type monsters you control. When this card is summoned, either by tribute summon or because of the effect of a Plant type monster; you can apply the following effects for the rest of the duel. Your opponent’s lifepoints become 8000, also your opponent’s lifepoints cannot go above 8000. After this effect applies, you can gain 4000 lifepoints.

 

Power Plant - Soul Patch

Level 10 / Earth / Plant

4000 attack / 3000 defense

 

Cannot be special summoned from the deck, except by the effect of a “Power Plant” monster. This card cannot be tribute summoned, unless it is tribute summoned using exactly 3 Plant type monsters you control. While you control this card you take no damage. This card cannot be attacked unless your opponent’s monster is in the same column as this card.

 

Power Plant - Briar Rose

Level 10 / Earth / Plant

2300 attack / 3000 defense

Cannot be special summoned from the deck, except by the effect of a “Power Plant” monster. This card cannot be tribute summoned, unless it is tribute summoned using exactly 3 Plant type monsters you control. While you control this card, when a plant type monster you control is targeted for an attack, destroy that monster at the start of the damage step.

 

Power Plant - Cornucopia

Level 12 / Earth / Plant

4500 attack / 3000 defense

 

Cannot be summoned, except by tribute summon. This card’s tribute summon can only be done by tributing 5 Plant type monsters you control. When this card is summoned, special summon as many Plant type monsters from your deck or graveyard as possible.

 

Power Plant - Doubled Mint

Level 10 / Earth / Plant

500 attack / 1000 defense

 

This card cannot be tribute summoned, unless it is tribute summoned using exactly 3 Plant type monsters you control. During each draw phase; double this card’s attack and defense.

 

Plant Hero - Solar Flare

Link 5

Link Markers - Left, Bottom Left, Bottom, Bottom Right, Right

5000 attack

Materials - 5 Plant type monsters

 

Must first be link summoned. While this card points to at least 2 Plant type monsters, all monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. If all of this card’s Link Markers pointing to main monsters zones have Plant type monsters in them, this card gains the following effect.

  • Once per turn during either players turn; you can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, then draw 1 card.

 

Plant Hero - Queen Rose

Link 5

Link Markers - Left, Bottom Left, Bottom, Bottom Right, Right

5000 attack

Materials - 5 Plant type monsters

 

Must first be link summoned. While this card only points to Plant type monsters, all monsters you control cannot be banished or shuffled into the deck. If all of this card’s Link Markers pointing to main monsters zones have Plant type monsters in them, this card gains the following effect.

  • Once per turn during either players turn; you can tribute 1 Plant type monster you control to shuffle 1 monster your opponent controls into the deck, then summon 1 “Goat Token” (Beast/Earth/Level 1/0 attack/0 defense ) to your opponent’s field in defense mode

 

The Flower Patches of Nurture and Care

Spell - Field

 

While you control this card you do not have a hand size limit. You can target 1 Plant type monster you control; move that monster to a different zone. You cannot target the same monster twice in a row with this effect. During your turn up to the turn count, when a Plant type monster is summoned to your field; you can special summon 1 “Sunflower Token” (Plant/Earth/Level 1/0 attack/0 defense) to your field with the following effect.

  • Once per turn; you can declare the name of 1 "Power Plant" monster, this card's name becomes that card's name. This card cannot be used as link, xyz, fusion, or synchro material and cannot be tributed, unless it’s for the tribute of a Plant type monster. During each draw phase; you may draw 1 card.

 

Plant Patches - Solar Winds

Spell - Continuous

 

Once per turn; you can target 1 monster your opponent controls, move that target to a different main monster zone. During each end phase, if there are no cards in this card’s column, you can special summon 1 “Sunflower Token” (Plant/Earth/Level 1/0 attack/0 defense) to your field. Tokens summoned by this effect gain the following effects.

  • Once per turn; you can declare the name of 1 "Power Plant" monster, this card's name becomes that card's name. This card cannot be used as link, xyz, fusion, or synchro material and cannot be tributed, unless it’s for the tribute of a Plant type monster. During each draw phase; you may draw 1 card.

 

Bloomin’ and Boomin’

Spell - Normal

 

Target 1 Plant type monster you control with 1000 or less attack; apply one of the following effects

  • special summon as many copies of that card as possible from your hand, deck, or graveyard.

  • Special summon 2 tokens of that card with the same name, attribute, level, type, attack, and defense.

During the turn you activate this effect you cannot activate the effects of or summon any monsters that are not Plant type.

 

Cards from the flowers

Spell - Normal

 

If you control a plant type monster; draw 2 cards. During the turn you activate this effect you cannot activate the effects of or summon any monsters that are not Plant type.

 

Plant Power - Walnut Bowling

Trap - Normal

 

When an opponent’s monster declares an attack while they control at least 3 monsters; destroy 3 monsters your opponent controls, then summon 3 “Walnut Token” (Plant/Earth/Level 10/0 attack/3000 defense) in defense mode with the following effect

  • This card cannot be attacked, unless the attacking monster is in the same column as this card

Big expansion time!

 

I've made a bunch of additions and changes to the original line up here, I think they should be good. Please tell me your thoughts on these changes I wanna make this really cool.

 

Major Changes

1. Changed the effects of tokens from always having their name treated as a certain card to being able to declare a name once per turn.

2. changed the effects of level 10 monsters - cannot be summoned from the deck except by the effect of power plants
