SkaterTheDJWolf
What's the best ant-meta/countering archetype that can survive on its own? And are there any good staples I should know about besides Herald of Perfection?
The Warden
You’re better off asking the TCG/OCG section this, so I’ve moved the thread there.
Dova
Aside from Counter Fairies, which tend to be really slow, if annoying, there's always Cyber Angels. Pretty good when they work in tandem with the Heralds.
Premier Alexander Romanov
What's the best ant-meta/countering archetype that can survive on its own? And are there any good staples I should know about besides Herald of Perfection?1. Go out to your local Wal-Mart, or, even better, your local card shop, because you should ALWAYS support your local card shop.2. Buy 3 copies of the Wave of Light Structure Deck.3. Mash them together into a Counter Fairy Deck. It's fairly competitive, especially in this day and age of rapid Special Summoning. And the deck doesn't just run itself, either. It requires you to plan ahead and anticipate possible moves, and choose when and where to use your Counter Traps to best disrupt your opponent. (GigaDrillBreaker)
honestly just use cyber angels. They summon herald of perfection hilariously easily, and Benten is a broken card.

goodfusion
I say Cloudians! While they are very slow, they are fun, and most importantly, cute. Altus, Cirrostratus and Acid Cloud are usually main core of the deck, which make a trio of awesome removal. They can work decently as a Rank 4 deck thanks to Silent Angler, Salvage and Storm Dragon (although Stormy conflicts with Salvage sadly).

(GigaDrillBreaker)
As an additional note, prep just went to 3, which helps cyber angels a fuckton. Though many of their plays aren't terribly impactful, they plus a metric shitton, and prep helps them plus even more. When I tested them last fall I could pretty consistently end on boards like herald+Titanic Galaxy/dragulas with plenty in hand to fuel herald. Unlimited prep makes all that easier.
