Field Spell Card

 

Lore: Once per turn: You can target 1 other card you control; destroy it, and if you do, add from your Deck to your hand, 1 "Machina" Union monster or 1 "Machina Armored Unit", then immediately after this effect resolves, you can Normal Summon 1 "Machina" Union monster. If you control less monsters than your opponent, you can activate the effects of Level 4 or lower "Machina" monsters, and "Commander Covington", during either player's turn. Once per turn, if a "Machina" card(s) in your Spell & Trap Zones leaves the field by a card effect: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it.

TTTTTTOOOOOOO many effects. (It appears so but 3 effects in the card)

you minus 1 card to add 1 card then get basically normal summon directly deck effect.

anything ETB that could triggers then gets you a plus 1.

second effect could be broken allowing to double up on popping.

third effect after establishing what it can do on top of everything the field spell itself can pop cards.

My suggestion: Once per turn: You can target 1 other card you control; destroy it, and if you do, add from your Deck to your hand, 1 "Machina" Union monster or 1 "Machina Armored Unit", then immediately after this effect resolves, you can Normal Summon 1 "Machina" Union monster, if you control less monsters than your opponent. You can activate the effects of "Machina" monsters, and "Commander Covington", in your Main Monster Zones during either player's turn. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.) Definitely seem okay, these changes, but the last effect is worded that way on purpose so you don't need your opponent's interaction to work your plays: Machina has a real issue with properly making first turn boards especially with their chief boss, Machina Fortress, being a hand-drain on your part. Plus, its Machine Union that needs to stand out from ABCs and Vylons in some way, and since it can't necessarily spam Fusions/Xyzes (like ABCs) and Synchros (like both ABCs and Vylons) it can now do its equipping battles faster. I may make it so it simply allows Union monsters to do the effects during either turn instead. That, or Level 4 or lower "Machina" monsters.
