Hello fine peoples!

 

There's no real profound introduction on why I wanted to do this.  Kinda just remembered that these monsters existed and were left pretty unloved by Konami, so I wanted to beef 'em up a bit: not to the point of being meta-defining, but at least a bit better so that is can be run as a casual deck.

 

Monsters in BOLD are ones that can actively help with the focus of the Deck.  The rest are simply "Metalized" versions of monsters.

 

Ones in RED are ones that are not for the AGM pool.

If a "Metal" monster whose effect includes "Metalmorph" is Summoned by its own effect: you can add this card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand (but only 1 from each).  "Metal" monster whose effect includes "Metalmorph" are unaffected by your opponent's card effects and gain 200 ATK and DEF for each card your opponent controls until the End Phase.

Pixel Metalmorph

This card is treated as "Metalmorph" while in the hand, on the field, or in the Graveyard.  Target 1 face-up monster on the field; equip this card to that target.  It gains 300 ATK and DEF.  If it attacks, it gains ATK and DEF equal to the total Levels/Ranks/Link Ratings of all other monsters on the field x 100 during damage calculation only.

 

Multifaceted Metalmorph

Trap

This card is treated as "Metalmorph" while in the hand, on the field, or in the Graveyard.  Target 1 face-up monster on the field; equip this card to that target.  It gains 300 ATK and DEF and can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each.  If it attacks, it loses 300 ATK and DEF at the end of damage calculation until the End Phase.

 

Ancient Gear Metalmorph

Trap

This card is treated as "Metalmorph" while in the hand, on the field, or in the Graveyard.  Target 1 face-up monster on the field; equip this card to that target.  It gains 300 ATK and DEF.  Your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap or Monster effects when the equipped monster attacks until the end of the Damage Step.

 

Rarer Metalmorph

Continuous Trap

This card is treated as "Rare Metalmorph" while in the hand, on the field, or in the Graveyard.  Activate this card by targeting 1 Machine monster on the field; it gains 500 ATK.  Once while this card is face-up on the field, if a Trap effect targets that monster: you can negate that effect.  When that monster leaves the field, destroy this card.

Continuous Trap

This card is treated as "Rare Metalmorph" while in the hand, on the field, or in the Graveyard.  Activate this card by targeting 1 Machine monster on the field; it gains 500 ATK.  Once while this card is face-up on the field, if a Monster effect targets that monster: you can negate that effect.  When that monster leaves the field, destroy this card.

 

 

 

 

A few more "Metal" monsters in the works, thinking about making Metal versions of Rival Aces next.

This is an interesting idea, which expands on the concept of the DM Metal monsters (REBMD and Metalzoa) in a neat way.

 

An odd mistake I noticed was that Dark Metal Necrofear and The Creator of Metals apparently both require Stardust Dragon of all things to be used as fodder, so you might want to correct them to require Dark Necrofear and The (Dark) Creator, respectively.

 

Kisara's soul can't seem to catch a break. Mind-broken into a Toon, made to serve evil in tacky armor, . . . whatever the hell Shining is . . . and now turned into a robot.

 

Also, in regards to the AGM Metal, the card's name is "Dame of the Sacred Tome " (no "s" at the end of "Tome"), and I'm not sure I like the lore implication of a warrior created to use holy weapons to defend books of ancient knowledge having her skin turned to metal. An awesome idea nonetheless.

 

Lady of the Metal Sky is also an interesting one lore-wise, and given her flavor text it's likely that she Metalmorphed herself entirely by accident.

The AGM ones were almost exclusively because the cards themselves were meaningful in some way (Lady and Dame of the Sacred Tome being featured in other cards while Noraiia has protag stats and is the only Numerix to have 2 Delta forms) or... is Kraken.

 

I didn't much think about the lore implications but... Well, I do have a monster in the works whose supposed to help bring out the Metal versions by changing its own name.  Lore-wise, let's say that this mage is going around studying the most powerful monsters he could find, with the goal of being able to transform himself into the monsters then cause the metalmorphoses on himself (rather than the original monster).  I think that explanation would cover it better than these things are suddenly all undergoing metallic changes.  Lady... just metalmorphed herself.

Given that you will have Mellaxis, the Dame, the Lady, and Noraiia in the same place, this could potentially be the AGM equivalent of Zefra or Shaddolls. I mean, they had an entire story arc (that I never resolved, unfortunately) regarding Intho (that huge Normal monster) creating the Sacred Tomes before the knowledge he'd collected turned him into a monster, and the Dame with them. I can go over the entire story and its implications in a separate post, but a huge number of generic and archetypal cars I've designed factor into it.

 

Huh. Noraiia does have two Delta forms. I forget who made the other one.
