BREAKING NEWS: Trap Card named "Bad Writing - Cliche Storm" causes chaos in YCM

Havoc reigns in YCM today as the true, terrifying power of a Trap known as "Bad Writing - Cliche Storm" was revealed. 

 

The trap chooses a "Bad Writing" Trap in your Side Deck and changes its effect and name to that card's original effect and name. However, the use of the trap also created a tornado of common cliches that plague fanfiction, original fiction, and creepypasta. The tornado immediately moved to Creative Commons, moving around the different subforums to suck the creativity and enjoyability out of RPs, stories, and other similar creative things.

 

The Trap also uses the Side Deck, and any reference in-game to the Side Deck creates a tiny black hole that collapses in on itself quickly and creates an explosion. The explosion nearly killed a few others who were Dueling at the time. 

 

The user of the trap, Dae, was arrested by Sakura, but he appears to have been possessed as he has no recollection at all of the last few days.

 

YCMers were interviewed about this.

 

"How can we stop this?" asked Striker.

 

"We've n-never s-seen anything like this before!" stuttered Flame Dragon.

 

"Okay, admit it, YCM government. The BAD FANFICS that you NEVER BOTHER to clean up are fueling this storm. And now we're paying the price of your laziness and softness. Sad!" tweeted Skater, who has disappeared mysteriously. Some YCMers saw him heading towards the storm.

 

"But what happens if the storm decides it wants to taste Miscellaneous's creativity?" asked RAEG, panicking.

 

"[paraphrased] We've never seen something remotely like this in our lives!" said YCM seniors.

 

Our mod team is currently working on a plan for stopping the cliche storm, and will keep YCM News updated with new details.

THIS JUST IN: Super Mod Transformations are apparently weakened by the cliche storm.

 

"It just took all the power out of me!" exclaimed Sakura. "One minute I'm a Super Super Mod, then I get retransformed to Super Mod, then Super Mod Junior, then nothing! Not even Tormey's Super Placebo Admin is immune to this!" 

 

Mods are unsure what to do, they have called in reinforcements from other sites, "but we cannot guarantee that these reinforcements aren't toxic. Still, it's better than losing Creative Commons, and we can just ban the anyway." commented Dad.
