Goatoken Shepherd

EARTH

✪✪✪

[spellcaster/Effect]

ATK/ 1300 DEF/ 200

This card gains 500 ATK for each Token on your opponent's side of the field. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target up to 2 Tokens on the field; switch control of them.

[spoiler=Concept]So it perplexes me... How come Scapegoats don't have their own shepherd. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Scapegoat

I mean they are "Sheep Tokens" after all.

Effect is simple enough as-is, though yeah, trying to figure out some combos that could go along with this. IDK, trigger a Trap that forces Tokens onto the opponent's board, steal them and proceed to Link Summon (or jack the opposing player's tokens off Grinder or something). Or in your case, Scapegoat, move two of them to the opponent's field to clog up their attempts to L-Summon, and leave you room to do other stuff.

Given how the game is nowadays, there's a few things that you could do with this; I'm mostly talking about Links because of MR4. You can find some way to Synchro/Fusion with them as well.

Decent card, just a recommendation:

You could add something like this:

"When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Add 1 'Scapegoat' from your deck to your hand."

I would, but I wouldn't... You see, Scapegoat is outright one of those card's you don't want to mess around with in terms of searching it directly. It became a technical +3 for a slightly delayed Link laddering, and that is nothing to scoff at. Even if a few others believe that the new premise of the Scapegoat is laughable. *cough*

People mention Scapegoat, but Scapegoat is more for your benefit as opposed to your opponent's disadvantage. There is another Token-spawning card you could use to attempt to clog up your opponent's field or build up fodder for this card's ATK while still keeping some Tokens to yourself (assuming you used something like Scapegoat). That card is Ojama Trio. It's a cute card to interact with Tokens, but you really want to act fast and attack before your opponent uses them for a Link Summon or some other form of Extra Deck Summon.
