Metaphys Abomination

LIGHT Attribute

WYRM / Synchro / Effect

Level 12

3400 ATK / 2400 DEF

"Metaphys Ragnarok" + 1 non-Tuner Metaphys Monster

When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target upto 2 of your banished "Metaphys" monsters; Special Summon them, but banish them during the end phase of the next turn. You can banish this card to negate the activation of a Spell card, Trap card, or Effect Monster's effect and destroy that card, If you negate an effect this way, you can Special Summon this card from your Banished Zone during the Standby Phase of the next turn. When this card is destroyed by battle or card effect and leaves the Field: You can add 1 "Metaphys" Spell/Trap card from your Deck or Graveyard to your Hand.

When a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated: You can banish this card [from where?]; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. When this card is destroyed by battle or card effect and leaves the Field: You can add 1 "Metaphys" Spell/Trap card from your Deck or GY to your hand.

Nitpick, but the artwork doesn't resemble a Metaphys at all.

Anyway, as a Level12 it is a bit tough to Summon, since it's bound to Ragnarok + Level 8 Metaphys and at the moment there is only 1. That can change anytime, though. Still, it is a potent monster for Metaphys, IMO. Summoning 2 Metaphys, ideally big ones, then suppressing the opponent similar to how Stardust Dragon does, except that it gets to negate anything, plus that last effect as backup, makes it a nasty card overall. I would say it's only balanced by its steep Summoning condition, but then it could become a problem if they get more Level8s.

This card is OK, but I got your point
