You can only use this effect of "Voritcular Drumgon" once per turn. While this card is face-up on the field, monsters cannot be Normal or Special Summoned to the zones this card points to during the turn this effect was activated (and was not negated).One of Revolver's new Link Monsters, and I am hearing two different opinions on it.On one hand, some people are praising this as the Link version of Formula Synchron.On the other, some think this is total garbage.What do you guys think? Unless that link 4 is borreload and requires 3 or more materials, meaning that this would have to be used as a single link material, which sounds like a horrible waste of resources. The Highlander Posted March 21, 2018 Report Share Posted March 21, 2018 Shhhhh, don't ruin the magic.It does apply to Topologic Bomber and Topologic Gamble, for laddering into these it actually is a formula, however for (funnily enough) Revolver's ace it does not work.If anything kills this thing, it is obviously the summon materials, which at least semi-decent dark dragons (apart from rokkets) is there even (odd-eyes does not count due to doing something completely different) ? Narrow and tight in use despite being a good card once it is out there.Let alone the DARK and Dragon requirements, needing 3 monsters is pretty bad. If only one could bring out any 2 monsters to make Twin Triangle Dragon, use its effect to revive a Dragon and go into this with just them, and then get your draw. Such a combo is already kind of taxing for the Extra Deck with all the laddering.If you can bring it out consistently and figure out a way to use it in something other than a Revolver themed deck, I guess it would be decent enough.I'll guess the zones won't stay locked if you ladder with it (meaning it will no longer be there to point at anywhere), but even if the zones remained sealed up, I think it is possible to play around that part of it.
