During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can detach 2 materials from this card, then target 1 banished FIRE Effect Monster; Special Summon it to your field in Attack Position, and send 1 FIRE monster with a different name from your Main Deck or Extra Deck to the GY. That monster's effects are negated, and it cannot attack. You cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck the turn you activate this effect, except FIRE monsters.


​So, anybody ask for a Hazy Flame support in the form of a Laval monster? Nope I didn't think so, but whatever might as well because why not (besides the fact that the U.S. government is trying so hard to destroy the internet as we know it). This version of Laval Chain is meant to help FIRE Decks to quickly Special Summon other banished FIRE monsters (yours or your opponent's), as well as dump other FIRE monsters into the GY for use with cards like Rekindling and Soul Charge all of this is to facilitate fast Special Summons of your FIRE Extra Deck monsters. One of the best Decks to put this card in is a Hazy Flame Deck, especially one that has more of a focus on FIRE monsters in the Main Deck, on top of that this card's effect works very well with Link Monsters like Pint-Sized Priest Hidaruma, and Powercode Talker so you can Link Summon Link-3 or 4 (possibly Link-5 or higher if we get any) Link Monsters easily. The downsides to this card are that being a Rank 6 that specifically needs Level 6 FIRE monsters to Xyz Summon itself its not nearly as splashable as its previous version, Lavalval Chain not to mention that you have to detach 2 materials at a time to activate its effect and if you can't then you won't be able to.
