[Written] Dimensional Loophole

Dragulas

Recommended Posts

A Trap that cheats the ED Summons, as well as summon restrictions (for the turn) so you can continue your plays during the opponents turn. Of course its best use will be with disruptive monsters, so a hand activation clause is there in order to be a reactive card during your turn as well.

Normal Trap Card

Activate 1 of the following effects:

● Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Materials.

● Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster using monsters you control.

● Immediately after this effect resolves, Xyz Summon 1 Xyz Monster using monsters you control.

● Immediately after this effect resolves, Link Summon 1 Link Monster using monsters you control.

If you do not have a monster in the Extra Monster Zone, you can activate this card from your hand.

You can only activate 1 "Dimensional Loophole" per turn.

It's something. The fusion is pretty bad since it requires the materials to be on the field which no a lot of fusion decks are fond of. I guess you can throw together 2 DARK monsters with this card to summon Starving Venom if your opponent activates Raigki to blow up their monsters as well as a spicy tech. A lot of Fusion decks right now would rather use the monsters they summoned to open more zones so they can Fusion more, not use them as fusion materials.

Not really sure about Synchro since they are by far the best at summoning on your opponent turn of the summoning mechanics with Crystrons, Psy-Frames, Yang Zing and Synchrons being able to do just that built in and generic options for them already exist.

Actually, this could be a tech card in Psy-Frames being able to summon Omega T1 going second since you can't have your field spell up yet, summoning Needlefiber could be spicy as well.

Don't know what I would do with Xyz. I would just Xyz summon on my turn if I had the monsters. Maybe if some card floats into 2 monsters it would be good?

Links also fall into that category of no good targets. In fact, they already have a searchable Trap that does it for them with "World Legacy Awakening", the activate from the hand is pretty redundant since it's not like you're going have monsters on the field before you get a turn.
