Attack on Titan Cards

Hey there, I'm new, but I wanted to show off these designs I came up with using the popular anime "Attack on Titan" as reference.
I believe they are well balanced enough to be used in an actual game in a competitive atmosphere, and their effects correspond greatly with their abilities in the show.
Anyway, here they are:

The Founding Titan #1 (DIVINE) (LV.10)
Type: Divine-Beast / Effect - Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). Gains 1000 ATK and DEF for every card on the field with “Titan” in its name. Select up to 4 face-up monsters on the field with “Titan” in their name; take control of those monster(s).
(ATK/? DEF/?)

The Colossus Titan #1 (EARTH) (LV.9)
Type: Warrior / Effect - Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). When this card is: Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, destroy every monster on the field. Every time this card attacks, decrease its ATK and DEF by 500.

(ATK/3000 DEF/2300)

The Armoured Titan (EARTH) (LV.8)
Type: Warrior / Effect - If this card attacks, it is changed to Defence Position at the end of the Damage Step. This card can attack while in face-up Defence Position. If it does, apply its ATK for damage calculation.
(ATK/2200 DEF/2500)

The Attack Titan #3 (EARTH) (LV.7)
Type: Warrior / Effect - At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card destroyed a monster(s) by battle and sent it to the Graveyard this Battle Phase: Equip all those monsters from the Graveyard to this card as an Equip Spell Card(s) with this effect.
● The equipped card’s effect(s) become those of the destroyed monster(s).
(ATK/2300 DEF/1700)

The Female Titan (EARTH) (LV.7)
Type: Warrior / Effect - You can send this face-up card you control to the Graveyard; Special Summon as many monsters with “Titan” in their name from your hand.
(ATK/2300 DEF/1650)

The Beast Titan (EARTH) (LV.8)
Type: Beast-Warrior / Effect - This card can attack all your opponent’s monsters, once each. During battle between the equipped monster and a Defence position monster, whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card; inflict the difference as Battle damage to your opponent.

(ATK/2500 DEF/1900)

The Jaw Titan #3 (EARTH) (LV.6)
Type: Beast-Warrior / Effect - If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing as a Level 4 monster. Before damage calculation, if the card attacks a Defence Position monster: Destroy that monster.
(ATK/1900 DEF/2200)

The Cart Titan (EARTH) (LV.6)
Type: Beast-Warrior / Effect - If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing as a Level 4 monster. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 monster on the field with “Titan” in its name that you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Special Summon it. A monster equipped with this card gains the following effect.

● Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle.
(ATK/1500 DEF/1500)

The War Hammer Titan (EARTH) (LV.8)
Type: Warrior / Effect - Cannot be destroyed by battle. If you take any damage: Destroy this face-up card. Switch the original ATK and DEF of this card each time it changes Battle Positions.
(ATK/2500 DEF/0)

Panzer Unit (Equip) - Equip only to “The Cart Titan”. It gains 500 ATK and DEF. While face-up, the equipped monster gains the following effect.
● This card can attack 3 times during each Battle Phase.

Titan Serum (Equip) - Equip to 1 face-up monster on the field; that target’s name becomes “Titan”.

Crystallization (Equip) - Equip only to a monster with “Titan” in its name. Increase its ATK by 300. While face-up, the equipped monster gains the following effect.
● Cannot be destroyed as a result of battle.

Thunder Spear (Equip) - Equip only to a Warrior-type monster. Before damage calculation, if the card attacks a Defence Position monster: Destroy that monster. Any monster with the effect “Cannot be destroyed in battle” is automatically destroyed (No damage calculation applied).

Hi and welcome to YCM, Xickin.

A general note that I need to make is that your thread did get shifted to Casual (Multiples) because the first card is a DIVINE monster and those are forbidden in Advanced at the moment. Though, given the archetype right now, you're going to have several problems getting them to function competitively.

====

Founding is alright for being able to steal stuff, but unless you're playing mirror matches and/or can use Serum, yeah, it just amounts to a large beater without protection. At least you can revive it though for longer than 1 turn; unlike the actual god cards. In regards to its control effect, depending on what you left as the Japanese name for Titans (uh, probably Kyoujin iirc), it can control other monsters besides the stuff you have in here.

Colossus is a field nuke, but then why are you wasting 3 Tributes then to blow up everything. As harsh as this sounds, Dark Hole accomplishes this card's purpose for far less effort (you don't have to waste 3 Tributes just to wipe everything); even Black Rose Dragon accomplishes more since it's not mandatory and if you choose, even backrow cards get blasted (also because Level 7 Synchros are still easier to field than 3 monsters). The ATK/DEF drop hurt its chances of viability too.

Armored is iffy; granted, it can defend itself from being hit in Attack Position, but for a Level 8, its stats are not very impressive. 2200 ATK isn't bad, but you could do with buffing its DEF as well (or raising the ATK so you can least kill more monsters). You could also have it use its DEF for damage calculation if you felt like ripping off Superheavy Samurai.

Attack Titan #3 is fine, though you probably need to work on wording (though I assume the point is that it absorbs the monster's effects after being equipped). Would be really nice if it combo'd with Panzer, but...it doesn't. Just note that you cannot copy Link or Xyz Monster effects (well, most of them anyway because they require pointing to stuff or detaching materials; something this card cannot do).

Female is fine, considering this is effectively your swarm engine to get them out of the hand.

Beast is alright; no complaints about piercing and hitting everything your opponent controls in battle.

Jaw does alright for getting itself out faster without needing Tributes, though I think you could've just given it the CyDra clause and let it Special Summon. Then, you could Tribute Summon another Titan. Defense Position monster destruction isn't too bad, but a lot of Decks don't play defensively (or will have targets you can hit with this).

Cart generally has the same issue as Jaw; should just be a Special Summon thing so you don't waste your NS for it. Battle immunity is decent, but that's it. You could really make it a Level 4 already, so you don't have to rely on the opponent having a monster.

War Hammerer's battle immunity is fine, but blowing up if you take damage does suck (same issue as Gellenduo). But suppose it does swap its stats so you're always getting the higher one, so...

Panzer Unit is fine, though the monster it equips to isn't particularly good on its own, considering 2000 ATK/DEF after this isn't really going to hit anything relevant in the long run. For cleaning purposes, then sure, go launch 6K direct damage.

Serum is really only here for Founding's stat boost and control effect.

Crystallization is meh; battle immunity works, but nowadays the game has shifted to EFFECT removal, which none of your cards can protect against.

Thunder Spear is fine.

=====

One major problem here is lack of searchability for your monsters or the support cards. Nearly all Decks nowadays have SOME form of searching in another member or a support card. Right now, your archetype is basically beatdown (does good in battle, but falls flat against effect removal / targeting).

I haven't watched AoT and thus grading this like a normal set.

Thanks for the feedback! To be honest, I was doing my best to translate the show's special powers with those of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise (there's a method to my madness). Their ATK and DEF is relative, based on who won against whom in this fight during the anime
The spell cards were just to kill time.

Founding Titan - I was trying to keep it as divine as possible without it actually BEING TOO divine (in this case the Special Summon). In the anime, the Founding Titan can control all other titans.

Colossus Titan - Yes it is a field nuke, and one needing heavy requirements (the Colossus Titan explodes upon transformation) and the "losing 500 ATK and DEF" was just a reference to the show.

Armored Titan - I wanted to keep the Colossus titan as the tippy-top-tier in terms of ATK (comparable to Blue-Eyes) but could still kick this guy's butt easily (hence the lower stats, but yeah maybe the level is a bit much) but I still needed him to have the highest defence.

Attack Titan - Really? I did my best at taking text from other cards and melding them together.

Female Titan & Beast Titan - Thank you :)

Jaw Titan & Cart Titan - Special Summon? Food for thought. The destroy defense aspect also comes from the anime's power

War Hammer - Yeah, I'm iffy on that one too. I was considering a straight up (ATK/2500 DEF/2500) and impenetrable to attacks effect (or bring an equip spell card to your hand), but if you read the manga, you can kinda get where I'm going here.

Panzer Unit - I was just going with the anime on this one again

TItan Serum - Yuuuuuuup

Crystallization - Again, anime

What I'm trying to say about Attack Titan was probably fixing the Equip Card thing so it's clearer; probably sounded awkward when I was reading this around 10:30 am. I'd need to check on similar wording, but it's not a big deal. You're fine otherwise.

As I said earlier, I haven't watched Attack on Titan so I treated it like a general set. Though, you can afford to deviate somewhat from the anime in order to make them viable (and live up to their statuses).
