Well that's disappointing. How are we supposed to work with that?

Hopefully we get an Avram level translation in the TCG.

Was actually rather tentative to see this because I know LIGHT/DARK are prevalent in YGO, but really, there are so many better options for massive spammy annoying combos, this will just be "helpful" to decks. I won't even wince when we get the DARK one.

Allstar maybe?

...Would be nice to have something for multi-Attribute Decks.

I'm assuming you mean something that specifically benefits multi-Attribute decks right?  LANpholinkus and a few others are wide enough that they could be used in any deck, but they either don't necessarily benefit any deck all that much or they benefit single/multi Attribute decks evenly.

I suppose this could vie for a spot in ABCs?  I dunno what they run, but gaining 500-900 ATK for all their monsters seems like it could be useful when pushing for game *shrug*.

I would definitely think so, given that it gives a boost for all of their monsters, even silver and gold gadget, bringing them from

C-Crush Wyvern: 1200 --> 1700

B-Buster Drake: 1500 --> 2000

A-Assault Core: 1900 --> 2400

ABC-Dragon Buster: 3000 --> 3500

it helps push for game with the added attack, also allowing you to crash with more things, like borreload ( even if they use the stat decreasing effect, which is nice since it's so hard to out in abc without using the lightning ) and turning them into good attackers, since even the lowest attacker C becomes 1700. It also allows you to get back your ABC-Dragon Busters since it is a light monster. Since it can be made with any two light monsters, running the gadgets becomes even more viable since you can make a good link 2 with them ( genius is good also, but this might be situationally better ), and even if you don't run the gadgets link summoning this with any two abc monsters will activate their effects, since they were sent to the graveyard. I would run at least one in an ABC deck, possibly 2 depending on the build ( some people like running scapegoats )

No, it's completely inferior to needle fiber. You can't equip and summon in the same turn and are better off just using Cockadoodledoo to needlefiber into O-lion into summon sorceress to get any piece you still need. These types of links are power-crept

Not entirely accurate.

These attribute-links were never really engine-pieces, they're meant to be easily-summoned link-2's for almost any deck, and the decks that are most likely to use them are the ones with that aren't able to work with Links very well, so they have easy 2-mats to take advantage of.

Using this card as an engine piece (like Needlefiber) is a bad idea. It's not a matter of power-creeping, that's just a matter of using a card for something it's not really meant to be good at in the first place.

It's gonna be harder to field 2 light early game in ABC than it is to field a light and a tuner that specials himself

If you're using this late game, after you've burnt ABC, it's win more. Needle is a strictly better card to run when constrained to 15 card Extras

Oh, I wasn't making a comment for ABC specifically. I know Needlefiber is the better card to go into early-game, and a card like this is only something you would run as a fall-back. I was referring mostly to the general statement of a card like this being power-crept; I'm saying that they're used for different things, but what this is used for isn't something that ABC generally needs.

Oh, yeah then you have a case. I was thinking solely about ABC. Sorry
