Name: Crystal Beast Onyx Cobra
Attribute: DARK
Level: 6

Type: Reptile / Effect

Effect:
To Tribute Summon this card face-up, you can Tribute Continuous Spell Card(s) you control, as well as monsters. When this card is Summoned: You can send 1 "Crystal Beast" card from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard. If this face-up card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard. If this card is treated as a Continuous Spell Card by the effect of a "Crystal" card, it gains these effects.
● You target 1 other "Crystal Beast" card you control; destroy that target, and if you do, you can Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Crystal Beast Onyx Cobra" once per turn.
● Once per turn: If you have 7 "Crystal Beast" cards with different names on your field and/or Graveyard: You can activate this effect; destroy all monsters your opponent controls.

ATK: 2500
DEF: 1200

[spoiler=Thoughts?]
You might know the Crystal Beast archtype. So far all members treat themselves as a continuous spell card when destroyed, in that regard, this card is no different. Unlike the others though, this card gets to apply effects while there. That way it isn't just cluttering your Spell & Trap Zone. Making it so you can Tribute Summon it by tributing Continuous Spell Cards, you can open up your Spell & Trap Zones after the others have cluttered them (although that is mostly your own fault).

Their boss, "Rainbow Dragon", relies on having 7 differently named members on the field or in the Graveyard. Setting it up can take a while, not to mention some members being very lackluster. This card tries to alleviate those issues by being another name (thus making it possible to replace another one), and sending straight to the Graveyard upon summon. Its other effect - which destroys a member to possibly summon itself - doesn't immediately help with this goal, but combined with "Crystal Hoard" you should be able to setup quicker (and lets you put some damage on the board).

Its last effect rewards you for running most members of the archetype, by letting you destroy all monsters your opponent controls once a turn. Due to the somewhat harsh activation condition, and status as continuous spell (letting cards like "Mystical Space Typhoon" negate it), I feel a hard once per turn limitation is not quite needed. Aside from some cards that replace themselves, there also shouldn't be a need to activate it more than once a turn.

The card was generated using the new card maker that is being worked on. As you can see, it supports the rendering of some 'unusual' characters; bullets in this case.

Interesting, it adds more summoning potential, can be tutored ith pegasus, makes the rainbow support more solid due to a new name and allows the rainbow fusion trap to get another layer of power (as well as future fusion).

I like this card, it also finally adds effects for the continuous forms, so that they are not simply glorified, terrible counters.

What exactly do you mean with "another layer of power" for "Ultimate Crystal Magic" and "Future Fusion"? Both of them send the cards immediately to the Graveyard; "Onyx Cobra's" effects don't apply there. I assume you want to use it in conjunction with "Crystal Blessing", which lets you place up to 2 "Crystal Beast" cards in your Spell & Trap zone. Thus basically setting up a "Raigeki" that can be used once per turn. Besides that, it can also be used for summoning it (destroy the other card that was placed). I'd argue that these are more power plays for "Crystal Blessing", helped by mass milling cards ("Magical merchant", "Kuribandit", etc.), but...oh well.

I was refering to the raigeki effect, given that the requirement is usually rather difficult to fullfill (having 7 Crystal Beast cards with different names).

Blessing can indeed fullfill the requirement, though I would argue Pegasus is a better enabler.

Beyond that it being alternate removal to rainbow overdragon means Ultimate Crystal Fusion can fully setup an Otk with Crystal Promise and/or Ancient City Rainbow Ruins (without the double Rainbow Dragon play).

And with another layer I was refering to being able to remove all monsters again after using the field spin of the rainbow fusion.

Ah, I was interpreting it backwards; thinking you meant this card would make "Future Fusion" and "Ultimate Crystal Magic" more powerful. But those cards make this one more powerful.

As for setting the effect up, "Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus" does indeed help, as does "Crystal Bond". Not only that, this card (in conjunction with "Crystal Hoard") can also accelerate the requirement somewhat... but at that point it is either not in the Spell & Trap Zone, or it cannot summon itself anymore that turn.

I intended it to aid in going for a One Turn Kill, by having it both set-up for its boss and clearing the field for its boss to deal a lot of damage. It is somewhat the play style of "Ultimate Crystal" monsters, from what I gather. It's removal is however slightly weaker compared to the dragons, which leave the field to shuffle everything on the field in the deck. That bypasses effects that prevent destruction, and effects that trigger upon destruction (the cards aren't destroyed after all). But those dragons leave your field empty as well, making a push harder.

This looks really good. I'm no expert on Crystal Beast, but I have seen some gameplays and I can tell this would do wonders for them. If anything I'm a bit concerned about the nuke effect because I suspect it may be a little too easy to fulfill, and its other 2 effects should be enough to provide strong support for the archetype without pushing it too far.

I'm no expert on them either, but I do know that some of them are a tad lackluster. Despite this card being capable of replacing one member, you'd still need to run most of the others (in order to trigger its "Raigeki" effect). Should more members be released that can replace others, this might become an issue though. It could be that I have gone slightly overboard with rewarding the player for dedicating to the archtype.
