Odd, not really sure what use this has exactly, but it's still pretty neat, being able to turn things into this will surely be useful somewhere, it does suck that it only has 800 ATK and Dinosaur/EARTH doesn't have that much use for Links yet I feel.

I can already imagine the shenanigans with this.
For example, you can now get anything with 500 or less ATK that this card points to to be declared a Machine, and then Machine Dupe out 2 more copies.

Or, maybe, you can use this in E-HEROs or Shaddolls to get out whatever Fusion you wish without looking for a particular Attribute.

This is interesting. It is a more precise DNA Surgery/Transplant (read restricted), but has the flexibility that Link Monsters have over Trap Cards. It does have its uses, as Dan pointed out, so it can fill a decent niche for itself. I kinda like it tbh.

With the Type changing in mind, you could mirror this guys Type to another monster so... I think one of this cards real niches lies in that you can ladder into Summon Sorceress without relying on things like Crystron Needlefiber and at the same time have a more flexible use of Sorceress instead of that Machine-Type laddering that you are forced to use with Needlefiber... I mean it helps its case that its material requirements are open ended. The question lies in whether or not the Deck you use can provide enough monsters (with as little resource expenditure as possible) on the field in a single turn to make sure Sorceress does her job.

Oh neat, now you can make Summon Sorceress with extreme ease. It’s not as good as Needlefiber for Machines, but we all know Needle’s days are numbered.

The attribute-shifting element of V.F.D.'s effect was most notable for Naturia Beast, I reckon it'll be the same story for this which is generic and super easy to get out.

In keeping to dinos, you can now change any of their lv4 or lower monsters they leave in font of a vacant extra monster zone to dinosaur for ovaraptor to destroy for his special summon effect.
